    We had folks saying the backups beat our starters all night. I question how closely people watch the games to not notice who is playing

    Generic play calling is an entire preseason thing. Honestly surprised that people we who post on a football message board every day haven't noticed this trend. It's discussed every August

    Preparing for regular season is all that matters. If this lights a fire than great. Yes it was very disappointing........but it doesn't mean a thing.

    Expectations for a rookie QB and new staff have been unreasonable. I wouldn't be surprised to slip in to a playoff spot but that would likely result in Reich being a contender for coach of the year. Vegas number is 7.5

    I don't think the starting OL all of a sudden went to poo. I think they didn't put in much effort. I hope this is a wakeup for them. The backups that played most of the game would never see the field in any non disaster situation.

    I'd propose it depends on your situation. If you are an established team with established QB and constant coach and coordinators you probably don't play your QB much if at all and are only filling out the depth on your roster. Wins dont mean much. New QB and coaches and systems? You are probably playing your starters more. You want to see some wins.
