The part where the argument for Wilson falls flat is trying to make it about stats at all. Newton lead his unlikely winning team to 15-1 including beating Wilson's team. There is literally no logical argument for Wilson.

If Wilson only had one thing it would be heart. I'm not sure where you are going with that. It's probably is most notable aspect. And he makes me want to vomit.

My coworker spent some time in Seattle over the holiday with his girlfriend as she is from there. He mentioned they went to house parties where everyone had played Macklemore themed singing/drinking games. He said it was sad and embarrassing.

In Raleigh. I grew up a State fan but good lord that is embarassing.

I know a few. Family and friends. My cousin, as a Seahawks fan, is the most passionate fan of any team I have ever seen. He's lived there his whole life. I see the conversation he has on facebook with various groups of Seattle area fans. It's funny when you don't get worked up about it. I saw the article you posted where there are Seahawks fans writing full length pieces about voting against Newton. The only group of people absurd enough to thing Wilson should get the MVP over Newton are Seahawks fans. I am a pretty level headed fan and hate homerism but to think that based on this season is just silly.

I personally cannot get as worked up about other moron sports fans naturally being homers for their guy over our guy. It's just pretty obvious the Seahawk fan base is whiny because unlike the last few years there is another team/player stealing their thunder.

The only awful qtr was the final vs the Giants. The Atlanta game was pretty average despite one big play to Jones.

Newton announced it. Can this fiasco get locked and we move on. This has been an all out embarrassment for this community.

It is not a coincidence that a poster named 15 brought up a bunch of silly BS about our QB having a child with a stripper in Atlanta the days leading up to attempting to win our 15th game vs Atlanta. Bad juju all over the place with that. I'm embarrassed that I sort of believed it was true even though I thought it was in extremely poor taste to dwell on.

It pretty simple. Norman is abrasive so people look for reasons to not like him. We would say the same things 8f he played for Atlanta.

What I gathered skimming a thread or two there is that they don't think they stand a chance for the most part. I didn't see anyone with much hope.
