I don't think Watson is expected to be an UDFA prospect. There's absolutely nothing about him as a prospect and the only chatter is about the novelty. There are references to him having a lit of attention from nutritionists to control his weight and he still put on weight constantly. Also quotes about him being winded doing any drill.

Dan Morgan and Brandt Tilis press conference
csx replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
He said something like the best bplayer that can help us or something to that affect. We don't have any glaring holes in order to field a team and have flexibility. You can argue what we should do and there are valued arrangements for several positions. Which i believe is evidence they put themselves in a good situation for the draft. -

Oh no, the DE with a trail of issues has small hands!

I like pizza, and khao soi, and cochinita pibil, and ramen. What will I order in 2 months????? Am I telegraphing? Why do I always do this?

You want him to be right about that but kinda early to be making any judgments on his career considering the draft hasn't even happened yet.

Why does Kaye downplay Wharton as only a rotational pass rusher when he played 61% of the snaps to Milton Williams 48%. Wharton outproduced or matched Williams in sacks, tackles, tackles for loss, and qb hits.

Sure, but it's hard to lean in to run first when there's no evidence. What we are is what we are. -

I have a real hard time believing anyone suggesting decisions have been made before pro days and visits. -
Why worry about any of it?
-
He obviously did. He signed here.

Dowdle didn't want to stay there and we didn't want to keep Sanders. I don't believe Dallas approached it as a switch. Javonte Williams was the immediate signing after losing Dowdle. Sanders was 4 days later.

He was nowhere on the radar after the fan voting and made it solely on player voting. That says everything. What else do you want to go by?
