  1. From your article: While it was never totally clear who he referenced, you can't rule out that he was talking about Garoppolo and the 49ers since they were ones Brady was looking to sign at. This is an opinion piece written by 9ers beat reporter addressing the rumors that Brady is considering coming out of retirement for the 9ers. He has no sources with Brady, and no evidence and admits that he doesn't know. In fact he went on to write: Ultimately, I believe Brady is done.
  2. So we have an opportunity to get a QB that the 9ers considered better than Brady?
  3. Found it. A deadspin clickbait ranking list of QB's Tom could have been referring to which include Trubisky and Tannehill. From your own gd article: https://deadspin.com/who-was-tom-brady-referring-to-on-lebron-s-the-shop-1847159630/slides/2 The only problem is... Brady doesn’t tell us which team/quarterback he was referring to.....So, with that said, let’s throw out some wild theories and take a look at whom Brady might have been (probably) referring to in that brief clip. Your own article calls it a wild theory.
  4. You made a statement that good QB's don't get traded or released. I listed ones that did. Now you say that you can't keep a player after they have requested to be traded. You can. No one is saying JimmyG is as good as Stafford or Brady. Just because he gets released or traded, doesn't mean he's not a good QB. He is.
  5. We don't know which team it was. He never said. Tom Brady: I think what you realize is, there's not as many smart people as you think. That's just the reality. I think it'd be a no-brainer if you said, 'Hey, you've got a chance to get Wayne Gretzky on your team, or you got a chance to have Michael Jordan on your team.' … 'Oh, we don't need him, no thanks. We're good.'
  6. Its probably more Rhule. Rhule is the one talking about how he didn't want to start with a few losing seasons like he did in college. That he wanted to win now. That didn't work out.
  7. Matthew Stafford, Tom Brady and Manning were all either traded or released and went on to win SBs. Shanahan is 8-28 without JimmyG.
  8. Did you even read the article? Its an opinion piece that cites tweets to push his idea that Trey Lance would win the starting job before the end of last season. Uhh, that didn't happen.
  9. I agree that winning cures all ills. The "deep playoff run" bar setting I find interesting. So what exactly is peoples definition of a deep playoff run? Do you have to make the conference championship?
  10. So what your saying is people posted the Rhule-hate at the top of thread because of me? Whatever. CRA your twisted pretzel logic never ceases to amaze me.
  11. All of the hate posters are original thinkers and are so enlightening. I learn so much from the hate posts. They tend to be thoughtful and insightful. I don't find them mob like or repetitive at all. Why would I want to miss a single post? And I don't intend to. If some of the posts bother you, maybe you should take a break. BTW, not a Rhule fan. The guy is 10-23 and brought in Sam Darnold. He has sucked. Tepper wants to see if Rhule will have a jump of improvement in his 3rd year like he did the in his two previous HC jobs. He believe injuries derailed us last year, and he doesn't want to become what Cleveland was: a revolving door of HCs. The decision has been made, so it makes total sense to just keep posting Rhule hate for the foreseeable future. It's clearly healthy for us and oh so much fun.
  12. I personally am looking forward to many more months of mindless redundant repetition of Rhule-hate here on the huddle. It never gets old. Its like a cute little cult with its own Qanon theories. This thread is a great example. I'd hate for a single thread to go by without it.
  13. Teddy outperformed Sam nearly every week last year. His stats were far superior overall. Sam Darnold is NOT a better QB than Teddy Bridgewater.
  14. Maybe. In my mind, a good QB isn't about whether you can flash, its about whether you can be consistent. He is consistently bad.
  15. The problem was how epic bad he was. Even if he cuts his drops in half, he's still BAD. He had trouble catching short little passes, his average pass was .6 yards. He's a liability on passing downs and I will not shed a tear if I don't see him play a down this year.
  16. Sam Darnold is not better than some of those QBs. He just isn't.
  17. Let him go. Here's a template for most of his posts: 1)Some statement that is somewhat related to the thread 2)Rhule sucks. He tries to derail most threads so he can recite his sheer burning hatred for Rhule. Let him go. There's no changing him. Haters gonna hate. TBF, a Rhule discussion is appropriate on this thread, and historically Rhule has been bad. On the Matt Corral thread though, it was stupid.
