  1. I don't believe in run/pass balance per se or emphasis of one over the other. You want to be able to do both very well to attack your opponents' weakness. Focusing on the run against the Giants, who had one of the worst pass D's in the league because Sam's play was awful is not a situation you want to be in. This year will be different.
  2. As I think about this, Shenault looks like a hybrid player though. He has lined up in the backfield. We were looking at Mims though who isn't like that. Hard to tell. I'd suspect the Browns are guessing too.
  3. I'm wondering how this is going to play out. McAdoo was pass focused in NY. They didn't have CMC level talent there though. Preseason was tilted pass, but CMC wasn't on the field. We just added another WR to what looked like a crowded WR room.
  4. So if those actually were his "exact" words, why would she spin things, or walk back her comments, or say this is being overblown? She's a Browns reporter, and this was fresh meat.
  5. 7 Winnable Games: Browns (wo Watson),2x Atlanta, Seattle, Giants, Steelers, Lions Potential Upsets: 2xSaints, Cards, Broncos, Ravens, 9ers (which QB?) Major Upsets: 2xBucs, Rams, Bengals (superbowl hangover?) An INJURED Baker had 8 more touchdowns than Sam, we lost 6 games alone by less than a score. I'm putting the Homer goggles on. This is a 10 win team, and if things click 12 wins. Key pieces (Baker, Horn, Shaq) go down for significan time, all bets are off.
  6. Yeah, this notion that Baker is now lying to cover his ass is the real BS.
  7. That's exactly right. People are going to write whatever they want. They are going to believe whatever they want.
  8. With Shenault we got more production history and he cost less draft capital. Good call.
  9. So Baker's story agrees with her backpedal almost verbatim. But some believe they're both lying now? Whatever. She said "go f' em", he concurred.....end of story, or non story as it were.
  10. Yup. That is how she describes it. But she didn't tweet it, so it can't be true. Twitter=truth
  11. She is saying so. When the transcript of the video is out. I'm posting it.
  12. Once, again, your post title says Browns game. SHE SAYS NO ONE SAID THAT. NOT HER OR BAKER. Your title is patently false.
  13. Uhh, no. Once again, she literally said it wasn't about the Browns. So how could Baker say he was going to fnck up the Browns? Second she said SHE said it. You're going to believe whatever you want Mr Scott. She says its being misreported and she shouldn't have reported it. SHE is saying this. I guess for you, if she doesn't tweet it, it isn't true.
  14. Watch the video I posted. She absolutely said that she said it and Baker agreed. She said "Go f them up." Not about the Browns, but in general. He agreed. She said this multiple times, out of her mouth, in front of a camera dude.
  15. I think we need to get used to this media shlt with Baker. Odell's father didn't post a video, he retweeted one from some fan. Odel and Baker were friends. Many Cleveland players said the locker room cancer stuff was over blown and largely crap. Baker the a-hole meme is the media's schtick for now, and they'll lie and twist in order to promote it, for click and eyeballs, and yes, this shlt is done by "legitimate" and "verified" media. Its like that Netflix catfish story on T'eo. Not a single "legitimate" media outlet bothered to look up anything about T'eo's gf. Not one. It took a website with 5 guys to actually look into it.
  16. We can't beat the Browns at home with Brisset, even though Vegas thinks we will and yet he thinks we're borderline playoffs. I guess he thinks we're beating the Bucs.
  17. Except Frelund says that Baker didn't say it sooo.
  18. Here's her full backpedal First of all she said it, not him, it wasn't about the Browns but in general, and he just agreed. She says she shouldn't have reported it, because its been twisted.
  19. Where are the wins you were predicting coming from?
