Baker with Godwin and Evans probably won't suck as much as people are predicting.

Most injuries are, just bad luck. No one has yet to show me an injury where they can say, its because he's too light.

I agree. CMC was injured more AFTER he bulked up. Weight didn't help Cam or Corral. I don't want him to do anything that might slow him down or reduce his slippery shiftiness.

We don't have the same schedule as last year. The teams we play don't have the same rosters. Carr was not a Saint last year.

That's one thing that I think Wilks did better than either of them. He commanded the pressers.

They believe (Fields+DJ Moore+24' 1st+ 23' 2nd+24' 2nd)> Any QB in the draft. Its not that they believe Fields is better, its that they don't believe the upgrade value worth more than we offered. We calculated that the upgrade is worth it, not to mention the fan base was tired of the QB carousel.

We're not playing last year's rosters or even last years schedule. The division rivals did not stand still. We've made very little investment on the D side of the ball, and our D wasn't all that great last year. Add to that a new DC and changing base formation. Young was a great college QB, but he is still a rookie. Our OC has never been OC. Reich's O last year was horrible, and he' going to calling plays. The schedule is front loaded we already have injuries on our starting OL. Its possible we skip the part where we take time to gel and that all the ingredients just work together like fine stew, but I would guess we start slow as we lead off with two division games.

OTAs have gotten going on Monday with No. 1 pick Bryce Young taking the majority of first-team snaps at the Panthers’ first spring practice. Head coach Frank Reich was complimentary of all three quarterbacks on the roster in his post-practice press conference, saying Young, Andy Dalton, and Matt Corral displayed strong decision-making and ball placement. But the story with the club’s QBs is going to be how quickly Young adapts to the pro game as the club gets this year’s top draftee ready to play. When asked specifically about Young on Monday, Reich called the young QB’s command “10 out of 10.” “Just complete command, control, poise,” Reich said. “You could tell the way he was seeing it, the way he was working through progressions, accuracy in the throw, ball placement of the throw, it was all very good.” Reich also noted that he feels like it’s a good thing to have a veteran like Dalton on the roster, too. “It’s really good for Bryce to kind of see Andy handle things the way he’s handled things,” Reich said. “And, obviously, Bryce has picked it up extremely fast. But it feels like we’ve got a good plan and we’re doing the right thing.” While there aren’t any contact practices in the spring, the Panthers still plan to have Young get his reps with the first-team offensive line, Reich said. The club is especially cognizant of who’s playing center when Young is in. And I'm the second person to tell you that Bryce, as a current player in the NFL who appears on Sims top 40, makes sense to discuss. Williams, who is still in college, makes no sense. As much as you want, he can't be on the list yet. But go on, keep repeating yourself with the Williams worship.

Young clearly looks much more fragile than Corral who's so durable because, you know, he weighs more.

Lets have Williams declare for the draft, get drafted and play a snap in the NFL before we crown him anything. He wasn't in this draft. The draft is over. What Panthers fan gives a shlt about Williams atm?

Corral was coming into the NFL with a bad OC who had one of the most complicated offenses in football. Adjusting to the speed of the NFL is hard enough as it is. McAdoo's menu sized play calling card made things over complicated which prevents playing fast. Corral doesn't want to be a backup. He'll get his shot eventually, here or somewhere else. We went through 3 QB's last year, if Corral doesn't stink it up in preseason, he'll probably see the field at some point. That is, if he doesn't get hurt again.
