  1. The cap will go up around 10 million, we'll carry 20 million forward and can restructure 30 million. I still don't think we'll tag him though. If he stays, he balled out. It will be a multi year deal and Baker will hold all the cards.
  2. If he's middle of the pack, its a losing season and Rhule and Baker will be gone. We'll be heading to the draft for a qb. Its playoffs or bust for both of them.
  3. ...and you're still wrong even with the SB champion requirement. Weeb Ewbank Tom Landryx4 Chuck Nollx4 Bill Walshx3 Mike Ditka Jimmy Johnsonx2 Dick Vermeil Bill Belichickx6 Sean Payton Mike McCarthy Pete Carrol Those coaches had 2 or more losing seasons before they were in the SB. 2 of them had 8-8 seasons, which is not a winning season so I included them. That doesn't include coaches who had 2 or more losing seasons at a different team before they reached the SB. This list covers 25 SBs. 45% of all SB have been won by a coach who had 2 losing seasons before he was in the SB with that team. The % is even higher if you include coaches who had 2 losing seasons before they were fired somewhere else. Your statement is still false, SB champion included. Now with that said, Rhule's record sucks and he has performed horribly. We're stuck him for now.
  4. Them is referring to coaches. If you wanted to refer to only the super bowl champion coaches, you would have said "of those superbowl champions", not "them". You had to add bold to even try to get your meaning across. Theres no need for CYA dude. Its just a discussion board.
  5. I'm not misstating you. I'm quoting you verbatim. If the statement was only about champions, why did you specifically post contenders in addition to the winners? You can feel free to change to "champions only" now, but you posted contenders and champions in your original post.
  6. Once again, you realize contenders mean they were in the SB, not necessarily won it, right? That was your term, not mine. This statement of yours: is patently false.
  7. Dude, you are on this message board night and day posting sexual imagery of Matt Rhule. Are you into smocks or something?
  8. I was just posting that some are in denial about how people actually feel about Rhule. When you are on a message board posting negative thought after negative about a person, its more than mere dislike. It appears there are only a couple posters who are still in denial about this.
  9. You realize a handful means 5, right? You realize contenders mean they were in the SB, not necessarily won it, right? Zac Taylor Kyle Shanahan Ron Rivera Bill Belichick Pete Caroll That's off the top of my head over the last, what, 7 SBs? And you're saying there aren't any more? I call bullshlt. Shlt, that doesn't even count Shanhan 2x or Belichek 4x in those 7 years. It also doesn't include the coaches on their second stints who had LOSING records at previous teams and got fired. Your statements also show a lack of understanding of cause and effect. Coaches who start with multiple losing seasons don't make it to the SB many times because they are fired after a couple of losing seasons, of course they don't win the SB.
  10. You're right, it is very unlikely. But if fans don't believe when its unlikely, who will? I mean, even Skip Bayless who hates the Panthers, had even called us a clown show, is betting on us to reach the playoffs. A PFF podcasts said they were surprised by the number of nfl scouts who think we're in the wildcard race. I guess we'll see.
  11. He really didn't do much in college. He didn't beat any really good teams.
  12. Bringing all his college coaching buddies with him General lack of nfl experience
  13. Cutting ties with Cam, bringing him back mid season and then benching him for Sam
  14. After 11 pages, there have been so few denials. This is progress. At least some of us admit we hate the coach.
