  1. Actually, I was pointing out that you were, so I guess your laughing at yourself.
  2. I think it was 600 yards each season for 1200 yards. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/ShenLa00.htm Its not bad for a rookie on a lousy team.
  3. Ignoring time, Daley was a 5th (34) - 7th(8.2) = 25.8 or a 6th round pick 4. Attempting to adjust for time Daley was '24 5th- '24th 7th= 6th-8th= 21-0= 21, or 6th round pick 16. Looks like a mid to high 6th.
  4. Of course not, but I didn't make the comparison. Frankie did. In the end, if Shananhan only had losing seasons, he wouldn't be so revered. The only thing to change the narrative on Rhule is wins. Lets hope we get a lot more this year.
  5. Hey you're right. I never really noticed. Kyle Shanahan was 10-22 his first two seasons, before he found his QB. I'll bet 9ers fans were calling for his head. Thanks for pointing out the parallel frankie.
  6. Scott Fitterer vs Other GMs:
  7. There's no 8th round values. So how do you value a 2024 7th? Zero? So trying to adjust for the value of time in the picks: Daley: '24 5th- '24th 7th= 6th-8th= 21-0= 21 Shenault 23 7th + '24 6th = 7th+7th=8.2+8.2=16.4 We received 4.6 more in value for Daley than we spent on Shenault after adjusting for time. Essentially we came out with an additional 7th round pick 25 after both trades.
  8. Personally, I'd be fine if he never sees the field. I would be jumping up and down for joy if we traded him away for something. If Chuba's in we're telegraphing run. If its a pass he can't block or catch, so he becomes a waste of space, in fact, they would intentionally leave him open so we all could watch him drop it.
  9. Well lets hope Shenault, Robby, Thomas and Chuba shake off whatever yips they have, like Johnson did. I think there's hope for the first 3. I'm not so sure with Chuba.
  10. You're right, the Jags fans don't think much of him. From what I read it's because of his drops last year, many on 3rd down.
  11. Using mid round values: Shenault was a 6th (21) + 7th (8.2) = 29.2 Daley was a 5th (34) - 7th(8.2) = 25.8 Shenault cost 3.4 more than Daley equivalent to the 28th pick in the 7 round.
  12. Fit got another frickin pick for one of our linemen? How is this possible?
  13. I think Baker's pick is a 2024 4th. I think the only picks from 2023 we're missing is the 3rd we gave for Corral and 6th for Gilmore.
  14. Is Frankie throwing a temper tantrum? Still missing Sb Blue are you? We know who you are.
  15. If Jimmy gets to play he'll be paid below rate. If he doesn't, he's paid backup pay behind a rookie QB after leading his team deep in the playoffs 3 times including once to the SB. Jimmy just bent over.
  16. So we are adding another WR to what looked like a crowded WR room. We have an OC who's history is a pass heavy O. We brought in a gun slinger QB. We were pass heavy in the preseason. I think our days of a balanced run/pass attack are over. It will preserve CMC and make us harder to plan against.
  17. He has a lot more production than Mims, over 600 yards each year. He's 2 inches shorter, 20 pounds heavier and hes a bit slower. Mims and Shenault are not the same type of WR. Sounds like they were just looking for one more target and they'll leverage whatever he's got. Jag's heard we were in the market and were looking to unload Shenault. I'll wait to find out what we gave up.
  18. Has some nice YAC, but his drop rate ticked up last year.
  19. Rhule's wife recommended stone hands Chuba in the 4th who was our primary backup for CMC. When CMC was injured, Chuba was the primary replacement and he can't catch a cold.
  20. This is exactly the type of thing I am hoping for. Reducing the run game and emphasizing the pass will leverage what we have in DJ and Baker, and preserve CMC. Eli: 2013 pre-McAdoo 3818 yards 18 TDs 27 ints 57.5 cmp% 2014 McAdoo 4410 yards 30 TDs 5 ints 63.1 cmp% Baker: 2021 pre-McAdoo 3010 yards 17 TDs 13 ints 60.5 cmp%
  21. I know what his ratio was. It was heavy pass which is what I'm hoping for. Heavy pass ratio in preseason would just be an additional data point. I hope McAdoo does for Baker what he did for Eli: career years. Baker with CMC, DJ, Robbie, Higgins, TMJ, Smith as weapons and Ekwonu, Moton, Corbet, Bozeman and Christensen, up front, its the best our O has looked on paper in 5 years. Less than two weeks. I cannot wait.
