Yup we followed up last weeks ass OL play with more ass OL play. Can we bench Young, since its "just preseason" and it "doesn't matter" because the hits he's taking look like they matter. You know....just until the OL, who mostly worked together all season last year, "work out their kinks" for this year?

I'm sure every time Young gets hit he thinks "its just preseason". smh

If the OL continues to play at the level they are, BY is not getting out healthy. Not panicked, just disappointed.

Meh. 1st preseason game was ass. 1st half yesterday was better, but still not good. D looks bad (with many starters out tho) and O looks worse...though the starting O actually scored 3 points yesterday0. Icky had another bad game. Hopefully they'll get these kinks out before game 1. It is the worst we've looked in preseason in a while. We haven't been shutout/blown out in a preseason game in a long time.

Yeah, there's clearly a lack of urgency on the sideline. They're confident that they'll right the ship by week 1. Hope they're right. So far it hasn't been much fun to watch.

No, Christensen and Icky both got burned on stunts...as if they hadn't played a season together last year.

I'm sorry, after all that was invested in coaching and players, to have a WORSE record this year will be a major disappointment. And that is what Saturday was, a disappointment. TBH, Icky's smiling interview during the game and Reich's pressers after don't seem to show any urgency. I guess they are confident they will do better in the future. Problem is, they were pretty confident they'd do well on Saturday. I guess we'll see.

Its true, they ran a bunch of stunts on D. But that is happening more and more in preseason. RR did that to us last year. During Bryce's series, it was their backups versus our starting OL, nearly all of whom returned from last year. They should know how to handle those stunts, especially when done by the backups. Their backups ate our starting OL's lunch. We need to catch up with the times. This notion that you play nice in preseason is now old school.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. I love Ekwonu, but he was smiling way to much during his interview after that performance. Reich was smiling as he walked on the field afterward. And I get it, preseason games mean nothing and losing a preseason game means nothing. Getting absolutely blown out at home in a preseason game, when the other team didn't play many of their starters, including QB, DL and corner should at least cause some reflection. There's a bunch of S2troud stan size queens just waiting so they can scream I told you so. Can you believe another fanbase having as much affection for another team's QB as the love here for S2troud? Some are the same ones who were hoping and cheering for losses. Some of us are just fans hoping the teams does well, even if Panthers don't do what we wanted the to.

S2troud looked bad last night, much worse than Mills who had the same supporting cast. I"m sure he'll improve, but IDGAF. He's not our QB, and probably never will be. It was never going to be S2troud.

Yup. Wouldn't be surprised if Mills is still the starter game 1.
