They had no turnovers either. We looked like a wounded dog.

Lions are a must win now. Their run D is worse than the Steelers tho. We win out, or we're done.
-
We need better playcalling in the redzone. We needed to go for the TD on 4th down. The D has regressed. We made Trubisky look good today. The Steelers do not have a powerful run stuffing D. They looked like one today. Wilk's .388 winning percentage isn't the best resume material. Its hard to win the job when most of the interview is excuses.

That would have always been the case. We have beaten one winning team, the Seahawks, and they have beaten only losing teams. This was one of the worst defensive performances all season. Probably second worst, behind the 1st half of the Bengals game, before they put in the 3rd stringers in the 3rd quarter.

2nd worst D performance all year, after the Bengals game. Steelers O had their way with us all game. Icky getting bowled over by a Safety pretty much sums up the OL performance. It was baaaad.

I know right? All the preseason talk about how much harder this year's schedule was going to be. In the end, if it was harder, it wasn't by much.

I agree, we aren't very good. But you don't have to be any good to go to the playoffs. You just have to stink less than everyone else in your division. If we win either the Steelers or Lions game which isn't too far of a stretch, then it comes down to the Bucs game, who we already trounced at home. Imagine, Jan 1st, beating the Bucs in Tampa, winning the division, going to the playoffs and ending Tom Brady's career, in one game. It would be the best holiday present ever. God bless us, everyone.

Was it me or was some of the blocking schemes more complex than what we've done. If I didn't know any better, I'd say Wilks went to Mcadoo and said "I don't care that you don't have any experience running the ball effectively. Study it, figure it out and come back with something. We have the linemen to do it."

Here's the full answer from youtube transcript: Again as I expressed man I'm just so thrilled and so happy uh for those guys in the locker room coaches do a tremendous job uh and and game planning and putting these guys in position but all the credit goes to those players and how they go out there and perform and finish and with everything that you know we've gone through they've gone through with the different you know coaching changes you know getting rid of players or the organization trying to tank it you know all those different things and to see how those guys respond and came out and played today it is pretty uh thrilling and emotional yes .

Yup. If we keep Wilks because we made it to the playoffs, then Wilks will have to be brave enough to fire the OC who helped him win the job without knowing who will replace him.

Seattle was 7-5 and is now 7-6. The have beaten: Broncos, Lions, Cards 2x, Chargers, Rams and Giants. Only the Giants have a winning record atm. Seattle has lost to every team in the NFCS, Raiders and 9ers. They have 9ers Chiefs Jets and Rams left. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended the season with a losing record.

As long as Reich can't get HC somewhere.

Who is on the potential OC list, because another team's OC isn't going to come here to be OC.

Delicious.

To win the division we very likely will have to beat Tampa in Tampa. If we do that, it will be the end of Tom Brady in the same game. I have trouble seeing the refs letting that happen.
