  1. Fitt is a genius. Thank God we got rid of CMC for a bottom of the 2nd pick and change...just in time for us to get an offensive minded coach. The man is brilliant. Sheesh.
  2. Has Wilks interviewed with any other teams for HC?
  3. Meh. Vegas had us at 6.5 wins before the season, and that is where we are. If Wilks beats a saints team that Rhule already beat, then we are .5 game over. If we lose, we're .5 game under. The Giants were better than anyone predicted and the Bucs were worse.
  4. I didn't say he was "injury prone". He's just played two years and had two broken bones. He missed most of his rookie year by breaking his foot backpedaling, a non contact injury.
  5. Lets see. 2 years, two breaks. Sat out almost his entire rookie season. If indeed it becomes three, then will you say its a problem?
  6. 2 years, 2 breaks. What bone you think it will be next year?
  7. We all know it. Some just will never admit it.
  8. Surprisingly Snow didn't leave with Rhule. He might have left on his own, but we'll never know. Wilks fired Snow. Wilks had disagreements before, saying Snow wasn't running an NFL defense. So far, Wilks' NFL D is worse than Snow's. He also fired a ST coach, cause you know, the problem early in the season was with the D and ST, obviously. /sarc After the Bengals humiliation Wilks fired cornerbacks coach Evan Cooper and defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni, clearly scapegoating since the D looks worse since Wilks took over and his D in Arizona was absolute dogshlt. He left the nonperforming O staff in tact.
  9. If Wilks wins the job, who is your best guess Wilk's DC and OC will be next year?
  10. Yup. Besides, what OC or DC is looking for a lateral move to the Panthers? We'd be looking at cast offs, or inexpereienced unknowns who are part of good programs. If Wilks wins the job, I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps the the coordinators.
  11. Holcomb is not a good DC. He was absolutely horrendous in Arizona. Our D has definitely taken a step back, look at the the 35 points scored in the first half of the Bengals game. They scored a touchdown every time they touched the ball. Mixon ran all over us. The Steelers ran all over us. The offense has certainly improved. The D has gotten worse. If we win the last two games and Tepper hires Wilks, just be prepared for Holcomb and McAdoo as coordinators next year. No OC is going to come here as a lateral move.
  12. Win the last two games. Win two road games against division rivals with the playoffs in the balance and Wilks will have earned the job. We've beaten these teams before so its not out of the realm of possibility.
  13. If we lose to NO and the Bucs lose out then NO wins the division We cannot clinch next week.
  14. If NO loses to PHI and we beat the Bucs there are still scenarios where the Bucs or NO can win the division If we lose to NO and the Bucs lose out then NO wins the division or If we lose to NO and the Bucs beat ARZ and ATL the Bucs win the division. We essentially need to win out. The only scenerio we win the division without winning both games is if the Bucs beat ARZ but lose to ATL.
  15. We needed to split the Lions and Steelers games. Now the Lions is a must win. They have a horrible run D. Our D needs to get its head out of its ass because the Steelers O tossed them around like a rag doll yesterday.
  16. Holcomb was a horrid DC in Arizona too. The D is regressing. Its bad.
  17. True, but today was absolutely not Darnold's fault. He actually performed well, considering we had zero run game and the line was so bad Icky got bowled over by a safety.
  18. Meh. One was a tipped ball that looked catch-able from the camera angle, but it just wasn't. I don't remember any that were actually dropped by our D, it was more lunges and tips that would have been amazing catches if intercepted. Trubisky did not look bad today.
