I see it as a Mike Davis type signing and another selling point for DW. We're desperate at this point, and unfortunately its showing.

Yes, Chubba is a smaller back. If he can't catch checkdowns in today's league, he should consider other work. Chubba is the one whose proven he can't catch. Jury is out on Foreman. Early indications say he's better than Chubba. But then again, who isn't?
-
Foreman's drop% is half of Chubba's. Chubba has one of the worst drop rates in the league. In the Houston game, Chubba dropped 40% of his passes. In the Minn game he droppeed 67% of his passes. These weren't some over the shoulder deep, finnese, toe-drag bombs...these were check downs. Chubba can't catch a cold. J. Brady never learned that and he used Chubba in the passing game over and over on 3rd down. Sample sizes are not the same, but its very unlikely that Foreman catches as poorly as Chubba. Chubba is one of the worst I've ever seen.

(Future) Panthers RB D’Onta Foreman tries recruiting QB Deshaun Watson (usatoday.com)

Basically, if I like a signing, it must have been Fit. If I don't like it, then it must have been Rhule. This way I can continue to crap on the coach for everything he does. This must have been a Fit signing.

Maybe we all should try to get some type of group rate for therapy.

Guess we'll see. There's a LOT of factors in flux that will decide how we'll do next year. I feel healthy star players on the team decide more about how a team does than the head coach. Just ask RR about Cam. The Bengals didn't go the SB because amateur coach Zac Taylor is a genius. They went because Burrow didn't get hurt. There is no doubt in my mind that if CMC and Horn didn't go down for nearly the entire season, we would have won a couple more games and hit realistic expectations.

I thought the purpose of the board was to make people miserable? Its not?

Most teams will underperform when their #1 player goes down along with their 1st round pick. RR was carried by Cam, and RR went down when Cam got hurt. Reasons for a glimmer of hope: Mac has actually coordinated a good O before. Joe Brady never has. The GM is talking about drafting OL while holding the #6 pick in his possession. Bucs lost Brady. Saints lost Peyton. Vegas had us at 7 wins for 2022. We underperformed by 2 games last year. People are acting like we were supposed to go to the playoffs.

What? David Tepper doesn't log in here to get my opinion so he can decide how to handle the Panthers?

OK this is my favorite. I only did 3 rounds, default settings. I walk away with a first round tackle , 1st round QB, 2nd round LB and 2nd round Edge and 3 round G all from the original 1st round 6 pick. In addition I obtained an additional 2023 1st rounder, 2nd rounder, 4th rounder 5th rounder and 6th rounder in exchange for a 2023 3rd rounder. Most of those were from HST, JAX and DET.

Apparently if you are lucky enough for it to allow you to trade with the Eagles, we can get 16 and 19 for our 6th pick. Ahh to dream. OR OR A first round QB and OL would be nice.

To be fair, this isn't the first and only thread bitching about Rhule. Its. On. Every. Thread.... ...regardless of how the threads are titled. Not sure where any poster can go on any topic that doesn't bitch about Rhule. "bringing back Taylor is a monumental mistake. It just wastes another year for Burrow." Recent history says keeping Zac is a mistake (thebengalsboard.com)

“Getting our players on the field is strong momentum going forward” -Zac Taylor -Yet Zac Taylor continues to make excuses for the Shortcomings of the offense. Wow his fan club has Been very quiet of late. -I don’t think he has a fan club anymore -That's the biggest problem, he's too comfortable, as in he knows that he gets to continue being paid no matter how it turns out. 'I'm comfortable with how we're doing it' - Zac Taylor (4-23-1) Can we please get a coach like this... (thebengalsboard.com)

Stop making good points. We all know the Bengals aren't any good anyway. If they had fired Zac Taylor for his 6-26 record at the end of two years then they'd be good. Taylor barely invested in his OL, benched a popular vet QB, and had never shown any true success as a head coach anywhere before. When they fire Taylor, the Bengals might become a good team. Get with the program.
