  1. Its scary to think they considered Willis at 6. In the end they made the right choice. The OT's were not going to fall, the QBs were.
  2. Also no CMC, no #6 draft pick last year and we had to play backups to our already bad starting linemen. He had to deal with Hurney year 1 and Fitts first signings were NOT good.
  3. At the presser last night, I thought both Rhule and Fitt did not look as happy as we are. Fitt said they called teams trying to trade down a couple spots, but with all the big defensive players gone, there was no interest. They were probably hoping to pick up a third trading down and still get a LT. They just couldn't make it happen the way the board fell. As usual with everything that happens on the huddle: If we like it, then it came from Fitt. If we don't like it, it came from Rhule. People seem to forget the Fitt's first FA signings were Erving, Elfein and Darnold.
  4. And in the end, it was Ekonwu and he was the first off the board, to us at 6.
  5. We're probably trading back and picking OT like Raimann.
  6. 9ers are 31-14 with JimmyG. Shanahan is 8-28 without JimmyG. They went to the Super Bowl and 2 NFC Championship games in the last 3 years. Jimmy had a higher passer rating than Mahommes last year. He's a better QB than you are a moderator, or Panthers fan.
  7. I'm sure that proof will come out that will make every one look bad in that. We just CANT KNOW.
  8. The 9ers are 31-14 with JimmyG. Shanahan is 8-28 without JimmyG. They went to the Super Bowl and 2 NFC Championship games in the last 3 years. Jimmy had a higher passer rating than Mahomes last year. Naah, we're just to good for him.
  9. Has he every really moderated anything anyway? He just posts and posts and posts and posts, mostly how he doesn't like the Panthers anymore.
  10. Yeah I know. Teams are willing to eat SOME points to get THE player they want but they aren't going to eat 350 points. We'd have to give up picks next year or have a intermediate trade before 15 hoping a different team will eat some of those points first, which is how many of us play it in the mock draft. Its possible, but not realistic.
  11. We are trading back. The question is, with who? Are we trading back only once or multiple times in the first?
  12. Yet you are on here posting, possibly more than anyone else. You post over and over again how uninterested you are. Self aware much?
  13. Last year was a disaster after CMC, Horn and starting OL went down early in the season. Sam sucks. Teddy looked better than Sam but.... Davis>>Chuba, Okung>Erving, 2020Williams>TurnstileWilliams, 2020Robby>DropsiesMcgee We fired our OC mid season. It wasn't all on Sam. We'd win more games with Jimmy tho.
  14. The Panthers were 3 games away from the #1 pick in the draft, but we won those games.
  15. Yeah Joe Brady sucked. So glad he's gone. He wasn't THE problem but he was a BIG problem.
  16. Man-child joe brady liked our route tree so much he just ran the same one over and over.
  17. There are a lot of variables. Sam is gone after this year. He has to play like someone completely different for us to keep him. He showed last year, that his play at the jets, was his play. In the draft, a good QB can drop, there can be a deep qb class, we can trade up. If we build our line we have a better shot at a free agent. A large percentage of the playoff teams acquired their QB by means other than top 5 of the draft.
  18. I was correcting the notion that Landry and Chubb had missed significant time. They both contributed substantially that year. The Browns looked like an All Star team compared to the jets. Baker is better than Sam. Just not as much as you think. It isn't worth any cap or trade capital. If they want to trade Sam for Baker straight up, fine. But I wouldn't give them a pick and I certainly wouldn't pay both.
