I hate Sam and what him gone, but he is going to start Day 1 and probably is going to look better than last year because CMC is back and we have a new OL. At some point, probably mid-to-late-season, he is going to get hurt or implode, because he does every year, and at that point we can take a good look at Corral. I am hoping Corral plays the preseason snaps.

We all have to be hopeful for Sam now. Its possible Corral just dominates in camp, but at this point, it looks like Sam starts day 1.

Rambo and McCall would be my guess to make PS.

I thought Rhule and Fitt looked a little subdued after day one. They said they asked other teams to trade down and the Giants screwed us taking the DE off the board. The only thing that saved us was that the QB's dropped way lower than most were expecting.

I'd be interested to know, how MANY starts they had their first year, not if they started a game before week 8.

Tepper: Recall we won we when had this running back that has some talent that got injured...his name is Christian Mccaffrey and then we had a center that got injured.... I believe Tepper believes injuries hurt us a LOT last year. We lost our number offensive weapon and our first round draft pick, half our OL and we traded away a good TE to try to get the CB back. How many teams would kick ass after that? Seriously? Had we not lost CMC, Horn, half the OL, and Dan Arnold, we would have won at least 2 more games. I promise you, if CMC, Horn, half the OL and one of the key receiving targets are eliminated again this year, we are going to lose, I don't care who is at QB.

Yeah, all this says is the draftniks agree with our pick valuation. It doesn't mean anybody is right.

Agreed, but it could be argued since we couldn't run the ball last year, and Joe Brady was a child, that the QB wasn't the ONLY reason we lost last year. A rookie QB is very unlikely to shine, so if Corral starts and we suck, he's going to take some blame, even if its not all on him.

I think they tried to trade back a couple spots, hoping to get one of the tackles and 3rd. Its alright, we still got the stud OT and potential QB.

With CMC, Dan Arnold, 2020 Robby and half the starting OL missing in action last year, not ALL of the crap offense could be placed on Darnold's shoulders. Joe Brady was a mindless child, and Chubba "I can't catch" Hubbard was a 4th round rookie. We did have Ian Thomas starting, so we had that going for us.
