Outscored 108-13 in the last 4 games and he hasnt thrown a single touchdown in that time.

In 8 of the last 9 games he hasn’t thrown a TD. The only exception is the Green Bay anomaly game.

And he almost fumbled away the one rushing TD

Others have mentioned this, but you have to put Dalton in for a game or two just to see what you have on this roster. Who are the keepers? Is it worth giving an extension to Diontae Johnson?  Is Icky garbage or if there's a more savvy QB in the pocket, does he look a little better?

To me, even with the crap play at the QB position, the O-Line has looked better than serviceable, they actually look decent and should only get better, baring injuries, the more they play together and gel.  The QB actually runs into sacks, and fakes hurries to scurry out of the pocket like a scared little miny mouse!  I have watched all the receivers get wide open, meaning more than NFL open, but if they are beyond 10 yards they can hang it up.  There is absolutely no way to grade any other player on offence!  Like I said last week, take the ball out of Bryce Youngs hands and the games will be closer.

Nah no point of him sticking around. Rip that bandaid completely off.

I wish I could give you beer and pie!  Cut him, admit you were wrong and move on!

Here's a little NFL power ranking write-up ahead of Sunday's game. Saints are 24th btw

    Rank
    32

    Carolina Panthers

All the offseason moves the Panthers made were, in some way or another, geared toward helping QB Bryce Young thrive and making the team more successful. Yet, in Week 1, the product somehow looked even worse than what last season's 2-15 squad put forth. Carolina allowed 47 points to a Saints team that scored 24 or fewer in all but five games in 2023. The Panthers scored 10 points (after staking the Saints a 30-0 lead), which was below their paltry 13.9-point average last year. And to bring the fiasco full circle, one of Carolina's best defenders, Derrick Brown, is now out with what could be a season-ending injury. Thinking that wasn't the kind of first game Dave Canales imagined when he went to bed last Saturday. There's a lot to fix and not much time to get it done. Before you ask, yes, the Bears still have more to gain from the trade that enabled the Panthers to add Young: They own Carolina's second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Pretty rough.

Oh lord I forgot about the second this year!  It does get worse!

Remember guys many of you supported JR selling this team. Just cause he liked to chase his secretaries around the office desk and pay them handsomely.  We had to remove him, right guys? You assholes wanted this so look in the mirror when you wonder why we suck. It's you, you're the problem.

Most of the people I saw running around on a moral high ground don’t even post here anymore.  Their moms kicked them out of the basement.

Except we traded a lot to draft this guy #1 overall.

Giving him 1 season to prove himself which is basically what you're suggesting is just crazy. Cmon bro he deserves 2 years before we make a decision.

He has looked bad in his 1 season. But damn as much as I think he's not the guy he deserves a chance to prove himself in his sophomore season.

Relax bro we aren't doing anything with Dalton either. This team lacks talent on both sides. We just got blown out by the Saints for goodness sake.

I get so tired of hearing about our lack of talent that somehow goes to other teams to become serviceable starters or even above average.  Truth is, for years now, we have no idea what kind of talent we have because we don’t have a flipping QB!  No D is going to look good play 90% of the game and we would be calling for DJ’s head by now and talking about his lack of separation if he were still on the team

    Nah bro, he's right.

The oline killed the Saints a few times. A real homerun back would have taken it to the house. Too bad we didn't have CMC.

They sure did, on none of the plays actually designed to RUN THE BALL.  We only ran the ball like what? 19 times all day!  I say again, we have the worst QB in the league and we only ran the ball in the neighborhood of 19 times!!!!  Teams with great QB's run the ball 30 or more per game.  This is not on our RB's  AT ALL!  It is on the coach for his sh!tty game plan and personnel decisions during the game and a QB that can't hit the broad side of a barn!

Edit:  Just had to go back and look, so it was 20 total rushing attempts.  4 were Bryce acting like he can move, one was a WR so our RB's got a whopping 15 attempts yesterday...Pathetic!  Take the ball out of BY's hands and the game would have been much closer.

Bryce was terrible and missed a lot of everyday NFL throws.  If he can't settle in and show accuracy he's done in the NFL.  That said, we could have run the ball regardless of the INT.  O-line couldn't run, D-line couldn't stop the run.  Thats a losing combination for any team that doesn't have a HOF QB.   Mixon had 160 rushing yards for CJ yesterday.  I would argue any QB other than Mahomes needs a running game to succeed.

While I understand what you are trying to say, CJ, last year had Dameon Pierce with a stat line of 2.9 YPC.  A good QB makes the team better, everyone on the team better.  While a bad QB does the opposite.  This was brought up last year with receivers being open.  Tank Dell did not suddenly become the second making of Jerry Rice.  He had a dang good QB leading him to open spaces, BY cannot do that or at least has not displayed that ability in any pass over 10 yards.

he is absolutely the captain of this ship

    2.7 seconds

focus on running the ball at 60 yards total today , fug dave he is the problem

Not just that, I see people talking about scheme and receivers being open.  Hell his personnel and play calling were very suspect to me.  For passing plays he had a scat back in for blocking.  We didn't run the ball until we had a QB in that could actually throw it.  I don't know what a lot of you people saw, and obviously I was playing a drinking game, but I did not see good coaching or personnel decisions at all.
