They actually tried to run outside a few times but it is pretty simple. You cannot run the ball effectively when all defenders are within 10 yards of the LOS. Hell even on the last play of the game, which should have been a hail mail throw (lol) the deepest defenders were within 20 to 25 yards. Shows they had zero respect for our STARTING QBs arm. What happened to the run game? That is simple as well, after the Saints game teams dared BY to beat them and he simply can’t. If our defense didn’t take huge steps forward this year we are probably a 4 to 5 win team again. Thank God for Evero doing so much with so little and we probably lose him this offseason
