You can't make the players trust the QB, the locker room does not fall on Dave, it falls on the players. Honestly, as bad has he has been, 18 games were too long. Frank knew it, Dave knows it and I think finally David knows it. You don't have to wait long when you know they aren't it, waste of time and energy for all parties. And everything you heard was coach / player speak. No one is just going to come out and say a person sucks until they absolutely have to.

I thought I heard in the press conference, he quickly said it and moved on, but I thought I heard "the locker-room was divided"

I started him in 4 DFS lineups after the announcement and his interview

I think we can all read between the tea leaves now. Dave didn’t play him in preseason because he saw he wasn’t ready! If you aren’t starting your QB then you have to sit the other starters, which set them back. He was hiding him, working with him, trying to fix him before he couldn’t hide him anymore. And with all that, he put the whole team behind!

Well considering the D was on the field 90% of the time because we couldn’t get a first down to save our lives I’m surprised the scores were that close. Those boys had to be gassed by the 2nd quarter

To me, even with the crap play at the QB position, the O-Line has looked better than serviceable, they actually look decent and should only get better, baring injuries, the more they play together and gel. The QB actually runs into sacks, and fakes hurries to scurry out of the pocket like a scared little miny mouse! I have watched all the receivers get wide open, meaning more than NFL open, but if they are beyond 10 yards they can hang it up. There is absolutely no way to grade any other player on offence! Like I said last week, take the ball out of Bryce Youngs hands and the games will be closer.

Anyway to see the voting results? I want to see who the 6 people were that thought "He will explode for 4000+ 30+ TDs and lead us to playoffs" was the correct answer after watching him all of last year. Just want to make sure they are ok.

Truth is, for years now, we have no idea what kind of talent we have because we don’t have a flipping QB! No D is going to look good play 90% of the game and we would be calling for DJ’s head by now and talking about his lack of separation if he were still on the team

The real bet is on how many yards Dobbins puts up against this D. Will he break 200?
