  1. He makes me yell at my tv in a positive manner every game. He’s been a monster out there.
  2. Horrible. Casual fans called it out immediately too.
  3. Drafting projects in the first round or two is incredibly risky. Especially when you already stink as a team, those guys need to be day 1 contributors.
  4. My thoughts: - Bryce cannot elevate the offense at all, back breaking turnovers are the norm with him. Backup material written all over him. - TMac is a revelation and we deserve it quite frankly. Got lucky he fell to us in the draft a little bit. - Running game is just a zero and it’s killing our plan. - Canales is looking lost out there, I don’t know what he does well. He’s terrible at managing tricky situations. - Loved seeing the rookies pop a little bit this game on defense. They need to keep growing. - Defense played alright? Kyler is a fricken dumbass though with that pick. - Worst Linebacker group I’ve ever seen in Charlotte I think. Tight ends will kill us all year if Rozeboom AND Wallace both stink in coverage. I’m tired of watching the Panthers play better when it’s garbage time.
  5. Went to UNC. People think he’s a pesky gunslinger instead of an undersized turnover machine just like Bryce Young.
  6. I’ll never forgive Shane Beamer for hiring Mike Shula as his OC. I spent so much time complaining about him in Charlotte that it’s killed my outlook for this team, they were overrated anyways.
  7. Good breakdown! I'm not going to pretend like I know what I'm looking at all that well, but I get the feeling Coen knew exactly how to attack Evero's defense. Maybe we'll realize by the end of the year that he's a darn fine playcaller and we'll look back at this a little differently. However.... some of these defensive players look pretty bad in a lot of different spots. #32 has been beat up a lot for that day already but this is just another reminder. He takes extremely puzzling angles too much.
  8. Goes to S.C., great athletic traits, raw in some aspects, yeah he’ll be a Panther for sure.
  9. That's fine. I'll hold him in my heart forever for that Raiders performance, that was vindicating as hell.
  10. Ride with Bryce unless there's a Rams game pt. 2, then you'll have to bench him again. I think everyone agrees a second benching means you're done here. Send Dalton out there for morale and improved play, sign someone off the street if needed. Draft a new QB next year or find a stop-gap QB in the offseason and try to focus on defense during the draft.
  11. We own this franchise for some reason. We win a disgusting matchup 16-14.
  12. This is why I wanted Spencer Rattler sure maybe he isn't that good but he's got a cannon. Honestly? is it crazy to trade for him after this season when the Saints draft a new QB and we have a proper Defense heavy draft?
  13. This isn't directed at CRA or anyone in particular, but as someone who works with large datasets every day, it's funny how you can construe data to fit any particular narrative. I mean this is just a hilarious tweet, a stat nobody has ever heard of, then some percentages with QB name. No numerator/denominator to provide context, no explanation of the formula, just another stathead loser with a mustache parroting whatever he wants. So much of this stuff is worthless, especially in a sport like Football.
  14. What if I told you he's being coached by Mike Shula
  15. Lanorris Sellers is my choice but I'm biased of course. He should honestly stay another year and develop as a passer though.
  16. I think he should keep it tbh and try to improve at it all. We hired him to be the f'ing playcaller and head coach, so deal with the bumps of someone learning on the job with a limited QB. It's fine.
  17. SC fan so I might be biased, but Sellers is built different just like Cam was. He can shrug off sacks and then pop out of the pocket and use his ridiculous acceleration to scramble for the first down. One of those things that just cannot be taught and will translate to the NFL. He's 6'3" 240 built like a brick poo-house and is not afraid of contact. He is however, definitely raw as Passer there is zero doubt about that. I think he's had 13 starts in college now? This shouldn't be surprising at all. He has a good arm though and can hopefully improve, seems to have a great head on his shoulders.
  18. The whole BY experience, from that stats that paint him well to the actual on field play, can be best summarized by a sentence from an article Nate Tice wrote last year about him. "Young’s lack of arm strength and size creates little room for error in his play" I think the above sentence is ultimately what holds him back right now in the NFL. https://sports.yahoo.com/bryce-youngs-hopes-for-a-bounce-back-season-with-panthers-comes-down-to-more-than-just-his-supporting-cast-140010168.html
  19. At no point would it make any sense to bring in competition. This roster STINKS out loud, we are about 90% sure Bryce ain't it now. That's fine. Mid Round flier on a QB is a wasted pick on a roster full of holes. Jack Plummer stuck around cause QB3's stick around sometimes. They stink man. Nothing would have changed much other than a game here or a game there.
  20. That's what I'm thinking two. Who looked like the first year coach out there? Granted, one side has a QB the team believes in which helps a lot.
  21. This play is when I knew we actually hit on our #8 pick. Granted, I was high on him already based on what I'd seen, but that got me excited.
  22. The only thing that is annoying about this is these nerds envision a perfect world where data is perfect and results are perfect and everything is so perfect. THAT WORLD DOESNT EXIST. Things go wrong! Did Bryce's teammates let him down a few times, YES! He can shoulder plenty of the blame though as well.
  23. No I don’t think so. We will show some signs of life I believe. It wouldn’t help anything, would rather keep a few of the same faces around for the rebuild. Also, it’s Week 1 people.
