Expect to see this every single game from what I've heard about Diontae. Constantly pulling out of the game for an injury before returning.

Clowney's hit at 24:48 gets me fired up for the season, he's going to be very useful for us on run defense at minimum. Hoping he can find some success rushing the QB here as well.

The Jets Joint Practice Thread: HOT Take Edition
Panthering replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Props to the guys for a good practice based on what I'm hearing. -
Argh I was pounding the table for Rattler but I'm biased. He could develop into something and of course he got drafted in division. No chance he'll be cut though, a half decent QB on a rookie contract is one of the best value contracts in the league. They'll trot him out there when the Aints are 4-10 and they're done with Carr forever.

Already seeing clips of Caleb Williams that I know Bryce could never pull off. What a franchise wrecking trade that was on top of taking the wrong guy.

Thu night NFL preseason...during the Olympics...

Olympics has been amazing this year and clears anything Panthers related by miles. -
Ian Rapoport on Bryce: "Everyone had Bryce Young #1"
Panthering replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Chris Simms has crushed the Stroud vs Bryce comparisons before, during, and after the draft. He's been pretty much exactly correct on all of it. Again, I don't understand why experts were so scared to knock Bryce for his size when it's so obviously an issue. First photo of training camp last year with the pads on, Simms remarked, "Damn, he's small. Those coaches are 100% thinking that in the back of their minds." Heck yeah they were. -
Dan Morgan speaks with Luke and Kay Adams
Panthering replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
"Luke you also had a lot to do with acquiring Bryce Young" Luke's face after that was said -
XL needs to start saying "No" to some of this stupid media stuff that's trying to expose him for his accent.

"The stuff he needs to get better at, he can't get better at" (due to physical traits). Insane that we took that kind of player a 1st overall!

How many games are you willing to give Young?
Panthering replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've heard Colin Cowherd mention that you usually know what a young QB is made of by Thanksgiving in Season 2, I think that's fair. -
I've already got an unfair hype train for him and this isn't helping
-
Yep, problem is he's a looooong way away from 1st round draft pick status
-
Lol I'll admit that was good, especially the last line
-
This will define his career unfortunately I think. If he can somehow give himself wiggle room consistently then he has a chance, but I won't believe it till I see it.

Look at Clowney actually speaking candidly to the media, that's nice. BY has always seemed like a quiet guy.

Caleb Williams is struggling big time in OTAs
Panthering replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
Their defense is going to be pretty good & their O-line is still a problem. Getting those 2 WRs will be a big help and he's just a rookie... in May. It would be absolutely hilarious if he is a spectacular bust after all the poo we had to eat from that miserable fanbase. -
Bryce Young #34 on Chris Simms' top 40 list
Panthering replied to Jackie Lee's topic in Carolina Panthers
Simms has never been as high on Bryce as others, and he's completely accurate with all his analysis in this video. I really enjoy Simms content and he at least speaks his mind a little more than others who feel like they have to hedge everything so they don't get flamed. Who cares if you're wrong, everyone is. -
Every Big-Time Throw from Bryce Young and CJ Stroud in 2023
Panthering replied to Happy Panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
CJ's drop and set with his feet is very good with no wasted movement, combine that with his arm and it's awesome. Bryce scurries back there and its so messy and inconsistent. If he can fix that with our revamped interior OL and step into his throws he'll be so much better. His throws are complete ducks when he's drifting backwards at all. He's got flashes and I still believe but it's a big hill to climb. -
Holy smokes I have had the exact same thoughts myself, cool to see it here. I'm sure Tepper stays out of most football ops stuff, but he (and many, many other owners) have to insert themselves in head coach and future QB talks especially with the #1 pick and sign off on it (because in the end, they do). Hearing the hilarious meatballs story with Mrs. Rhule, hearing about these incredible dinners Tepper & co. had with Bryce were they praised how he carries himself, Tepper clearly gets attached and/or swindled by these silly things in hindsight and then gets a gut feeling in his stomach that he can't look past. It's absolutely killed him so far in his tenure.
