Do we attempt to extend Diontae this season?
Panthering replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think we attempt to extend but not enough to outbid someone else. He'd have to really fall in love with Canales and the situation around him but the team just isn't good so. -
One of my favorite Panthers to watch out there and had started the season so well...... POO!

Run the f’ing rock, get a turnover, protect the ball, we WIN.

As soon as I saw that mouthpiece I was out

The way he complements our Pass Pro is so great to hear

I have been riding such a high since that first drive that I forgot how many almost INTs he threw

How Many Games Before Dalton Loses a Start?

It's the NFL, honestly the Bengals will likely beat us next week they're going to be desperate -
One of those trade proposals you get in Fantasy that is so disrespectful that you aren't even sure how to respond
-
I'm surprised he's so accurate and that throw was big time to McLaurin. Makes me have hope we can beat the Bungles as well but I'm not holding my breath.

Offseason acquisitions continue to play well for us, good job Dan! Diontae was a breath of fresh air we've been missing in this offense since Moore departed, he gets open as quick as advertised.

Chuba's career arc here has been awesome, went from a raw rookie that nobody really like (because of Rhule's wife lol), put his head down and worked so hard on his craft he became a fan favorite. One of the better stories of the Tepper era.

Is it to early to revisit the Corral vs Malik Willis debate?

Minshew is right handed so he tends to roll out right, Clowney being there is gonna shut that down every single time. Love it. -

Shoot I AM having fun for the first time in a long time -
Hunter should be the heisman favorite. He’s undeniably a pure football player I love that he’s just got an instinct you can’t teach for the game.

I still have tears in my eyes from that opening drive -
Steven Ruiz of the Ringer who's also a Panthers fan is really speaking for a large part of Panthers fans mindsets in the media with this video.

Yeah when he says stuff like that it inspires no confidence, just like his play on the field.

Assuming it's done do you select a qb this year or wait?
Panthering replied to Panthero's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think the pendulum has swung too far into the direction of "Rookie QBs must be on your team because of the contract to skill ratio advantage". We are seeing this in recent drafts, in 1 of 3 drafts maybe you'll find "THAT DUDE". We had our chance on "THAT DUDE" and completely and utterly whiffed. Best teams in the NFL right now do not have a young QB on a rookie contract except for Texans. Everyone is reaching way too hard for QBs in the draft, if Canales isn't enamored by anyone in this draft then just look into FA, stick with Dalton, or trade for someone like Spencer Rattler (who we should've f*cking drafted like I wanted to). This team is so talent bereft on defense that we should realistically be probably drafting the best Edge on the board or trading back for more picks. -
Man if you get cut from this team you just kind of stink, sorry

I don’t understand the the hate on Tepper for Bryce getting benched
Panthering replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's just low hanging fruit for media and I mean..... he's been a horrendous owner since he's taken over. -
I think optics wise you can't really play him again, even if Dalton goes down. The whole building should be done with him sadly.
