Good hire all things considered.

Honestly happy to have an OC with NFL experience and success at it too. Don't know how much he'll be able to do but hoping for the best.

Panthers conducting 2nd interview with Jay Gruden today
Panthering replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wait.... I missed this. When was the first interview? This would actually be a decent hire. -
Would rather draft Pickett at 7 than get Cousins since I feel like he can be that level QB. Roster in no position to be giving up any more future assets.

What is Joe Burrow’s superior trait to Kenny Pickett?
Panthering replied to FuFuLamePoo's topic in 2023 NFL Draft
Level of competition, success, accolades, hand size.... other than that a lot of similarities -
Oldy! Hope all is well and I see you've migrated here from another site as well same with me.

Analytics say not in the first round basically, similar to how you should view drafting a DT or RB, it's just not a valuable enough position to draft that early. If you do draft someone in the first round at DT or C they better be absolutely incredible game changing type guys. So for DT someone who can both command double teams and hold their own while also possessing ability to rush the passer (Aaron Donald, maybe Vita Vea). Won't say I know exactly what that means for a C but I don't think that drafting a C at 7 is wise... but we are still so talent deficient on this roster that I'm not sure it would even bother me. But anyways, should be going for QB or LT at that draft spot.

Rhule set to appear on WFNZ Thursday morning
Panthering replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Incredible how awful Rhule is speaking publicly, just so incompetent. -
They thought that their patchwork job on O line was going to be enough to suffice and then the performance was so bad that they had to make it no1 priority.

He's got the worst case of happy feet in the pocket I've ever seen from a Panthers QB. Consistently bails on clean pockets and makes life worse for everyone involved. Bright side is this guy will likely lead to a top 5 pick next year and Rhule's firing next season.

2022 Draft order updates: Top 16 set
Panthering replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Kenny Pickett come on down -
I would happily take Brian Flores in Carolina to replace Rhule, no idea why Miami would do that.

Matt Rhule Got to Hand Pick 2 QB's...Will There Be a 3rd**
Panthering replied to SetfreexX's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we keep him yes, and his name is Kenny Pickett -
Trade out of 6 or trade away a player instead?
Panthering replied to Reebis21's topic in Carolina Panthers
This roster still isn't good enough, we have no reason to be trading away jimmies and joes to other teams. Would much rather trade back in the draft to accumulate more picks without sacrificing bodies and thus giving us more chances to get some contributors on NFL Sundays. -
Panthers taking offers for Cmac in the off-season
Panthering replied to Leotiger's topic in Carolina Panthers
It was always going to end this way after the contract we gave him. RBs never see the end of their big paydays, we will likely not get an offer that suits our needs due to his cap hit and then we'll have to release him at some point. Friggin sucks, I'd rather keep the guy and hope it works itself out but he suddenly can't stay healthy now either. -
Pickett should definitely be the pick at 6 I think if they go QB. He passes the Parcells benchmark, has shown improvement year over year, and is a good player. If he can be a Kirk Cousins level QB then that's great for us.
