  1. Letting your QB2 start in the second pre-season game is not a big deal. I do think the charade between Baker and Darnold is over, Baker has that locked up. PJ has more reps and knowledge than Corral does right now so he's going to get the start to help with evaluating the whole offense. Darnold is being hung out as trade bait for now until nobody takes it and then he'll be cut I assume.
  2. Lack of remorse and just terrible PR from both Deshaun and Browns on this awful situation just makes me want him to go away for a while. 11 games does not feel like enough at all, don't really care how the precedent has been set with punishment by NFL. Guess what? Punishment by NFL has been bad so it shouldn't be the stone cold precedent
  3. I got very, very drunk in the Falcons stadium when we absolutely whooped them to secure the king of poop mountain in 2014. When Tre Boston returned that pick 6 I was going nuts and giving it to all the Falcons fans leaving the whole quarter. Fun times!
  4. Lol yes the Hurricanes who are so known for being so tough and big on the ice.... heck I still call them the Candy Canes to this day even though they're the best franchise in the state at the moment. Always been a big ol pushover on the ice when people start hitting.
  5. I continue to like how Rhule has handled camp this offseason QB notwithstanding
  6. hahaha this is fair, just poo'ing Ickey not looking too hot right now
  7. Nice to hear, nothing too surprising there. Has Ickey played at all?
  8. Can someone hit me with a few bullet points of the game so far? I cannot watch it.
  9. NFL as a whole has cracked down on practice video per the Roar podcast
  10. I like how Rhule has handled these practices for the most part, he should feel as comfortable as ever after a few years of this and what's easily the best roster he's had so far. No excuses this year for him to lean on after an upgrade in QB, O-line, and coaching staff.
  11. We've seen real Darnold play, in this uniform, on NFL Sundays. It's not good.
  12. Really feels like the hammer is going to come down on Watson between the sheer number of accusers, lack of remorse, owners bitching about the contract structure, spitting in the NFL's face not accepting the 12 games, among more things.
  13. Sam's lack of fire and leadership last year was increasingly evident on the TV screen when things went south. Not surprised the team doesn't gravitate towards him at all, I don't even know if it's really all his fault but the QB position demands that you have some leadership ability.
  14. If it helps with player safety then I love it, especially when it comes to head injuries.
  15. Expecting absolutely nothing from this guy but hoping for the best! If he's looking happier in interviews and practice then that's a win in and of itself.
  16. Yeah seriously, this was a perfectly normal interview but everyone in here decided to not watch it and just dunk on him. Stupid.
  17. I love how smooooooooth Corral's mechanics are, there's no tightness or resistance anywhere.
  18. Pros: Boomers like my dad love hearing stuff like this and think it's still true Cons: It's not 1976 anymore
  19. He has 11.5 sacks total across the 3 years he started. This is not some eye popping number, it was well known he did not have a versatile skill set when it came to rushing the QB in the draft. A lot of it was raw power that needed to be refined, like I said, he's still a good player.
  20. Absolutely not, he's exactly who he is when we drafted him. A big run stuffer who doesn't have much of a pass rush ability. That kind of DT is never a top 20 pick but we reached a bit there due to fit and need matching up there. If you expected him to be a pass rushing beast and a complete force against the run then you set yourself up for failure the night we drafted him. He is who he is, had somewhat of a disappointing year 2 vs year 1 but he's been fine.
  21. Corral going for more gt'd $ makes sense after injuries he sustained in college, that cost him a few mil too.
