  1. Nooooo wayyyyyyyy I can't believe it..... lol
  2. Except for the fact that he’s tiny, like, really tiny.
  3. Ok so we make the trade after the combine where Stroud throws in front of everyone and Bryce doesn't, they also meet all the QBs. Signs point to Stroud there, but then a whole lot of subsequent reporting immediately says it's actually going to be Bryce Young. Yeah, I think that's a bit of a smokescreen. But I'm down with either one of these guys, just like Stroud more because of his prototypical size.
  4. Always enjoy Simms QB analysis, he's not perfect & no one is. But he dives in pretty deep and always has some insightful comments, looking forward to his breakdown of this.
  5. No clue how anyone can listen to that and declare it sounds like he’s speaking about x player. Just GM speak.
  6. Agreed. Not expecting much from Thielen surprised we gave him 3 years. Hopefully he can make some good red zone snags or something but we still need to draft a WR.
  7. As a Gamecock alum I love the move. Still can't believe he was drafted in the 1st round by the Ravens though lol. Decent player for sure and a good guy who's got a cool story about sobriety.
  8. Injury prone, old vet? Eh, I think he's lost a step too. We could use some presence there but I'm not sure how useful he'll really be on Sundays.
  9. Sheesh, we are smashing the offseason so far.
  10. Frank Reich has worked with larger sized QBs in the past who are accurate and have the NFL smarts. CJ Stroud has those traits right now, Bryce Young is also just a total baller in a smaller package. Reich also is a very outspoken man of faith and Stroud is that as well as being the son of a preacher. Bryce Young is also an outspoken man of faith, I can see us going with either guy from Reich's perspective. I really do think it's just going to come down to Stroud's size being the deciding factor.
  11. Genuinely, good for him. That's a great offense to learn and get exposure to and if he ends up in a situation where he can play he'll be in a great spot to make plays and thus further his career.
  12. I would like to see AR go to Seattle though and sit behind Geno for a season or two.
  13. Good god. How about we never speak of that list ever again.
  14. Excited to hear how everyone is placing full trust in this staff to pick a QB, that's why you make the move to #1 right there.
  15. Has to be either Stroud or Young. Any other QB and I’d be shocked and upset.
  16. Aw I’m gonna miss DJ…. But we have our pick of the litter which I freaking love to see. So so happy we are drafting a QB finally.
  17. He's lost a step and is borderline washed in my opinion. No thanks.
  18. Will Levis seems like Carson Wentz to me but idk, seems to be clearly behind Stroud & Young in the AR category of potential.
  19. I'm quite relieved we didn't sign him, don't love that he's in our division now but I don't exactly fear him like other high level QB's.
  20. Black QB in draft... DAE CAM NEWTON!?!?!?
  21. Carr about to walk into that meeting with a few Bible verses prepared and Reich is going to fall over himself to get him into the building ha! I actually wouldn't be that upset if he's brought up but I much, much prefer going to the NFL draft and trading up for our guy.
  22. I'm glad to hear that, they need to re-establish a connection with the fans again after the last few years.... mostly by just winning the dam games.
  23. Good read. Tepper deserves criticism but he's not tight on money when it comes to hiring coaches, just got to hire the right guy and I think he did that this time around. I just hope the culture of winning comes back and we go back to the 'Keep Pounding' roots that Rhule tried to stray away from.
