  1. Surprised at how many people are defending Harbaugh in here. You can definitely do worse than him but how many times do we have to watch his teams blow games and watch him totally mismanage the game. He'll be great for a Cleveland/Tennessee franchise if they can get him.
  2. Playing each of the top 5 defenses should be a blast
  3. That's about where I'd rank the QB as well across the 32 teams, not a coincedence. Late 20s with only a few guys worse than him. Canales has done a decent enough job despite the stats.
  4. Our offensive line was put the Rams lighter defensive front in the weight room last game. It'll have to be the same for this game too if we want to have a chance. Got to run the ball and win time of possession or else it'll get ugly. They moved the ball at will on us last game.
  5. TMac has been so fun to watch this year, I still remember yelping in joy when we picked him because I really was convinced we were going defense. Great part is that he still has room to grow and will only get better.
  6. We got to pay Ickey, he had a good year and has improved. No need to shoot ourselves in the foot here. We can likely shed Moton & his contract soon which makes me sad to say. We can also look at restructuring Hunt's contract too. There's options but Ickey must be paid.
  7. Red flags with personality, does not seem like a good leader, clearly limited physically, scramble first guy. I don't like much anything about him
  8. Has anyone looked at Luke Altmyer? I checked some of his stats and its intriguing for a late round pick. Need me a dude who can operate from the confines of the pocket and he also has some scramble ability.
  9. Sorry I just cannot agree with "he has more than enough arm for the NFL". Sure it might be a little overblown but its definitely below league average in my mind. He can flash it here and there if he can really get his lower body into the throw but I have seen so many skipped balls that land 5-10 ft in front of the receivers when he gets pushed off a solid base.
  10. His confidence pushing the ball down the field got shattered early. His first game against the Falcons I still remember the Jessie Bates picks and then the first possession first game against the Saints last year in Canales first year he tried to fit it in a tight window in the middle of the field and got picked. He just doesn't have the arm strength for this league.
  11. They have to draft Sonny Styles just for the name but also for the 0% missed tackle rate
  12. "Hey Xavier, this is a great time to step up and prove some haters wrong today. The guy we drafted to replace you is sick and we could really use another WR to carry the guys today." "Oh really? I'm going to play even worse than I already have been playing."
  13. Yeah behind the youth pastor vibes/answers he gives off in the presser he can be blunt with his answers at times. But it's usually not that pointed towards anyone on the team so it's nice to hear he's not afraid to call out the number 1 pick QB who threw for 54 yards. Ben Johnson purposely overloaded Caleb with information and made him struggle early to get him up to speed. Liam Cohen was absolutely not shy about getting on Trevor when he made mistakes, especially in games. Would like Dave to learn a little from that.
  14. Of course we want to win, c'mon. I've had fun cheering for the Panthers this season and a division title would be a cool moment for us. No expectations in the playoffs and that's fine, but it's a good thing to win.
  15. Shough might just snag this award and it wouldn't be that controversial, would love to see TMac show out against TB and get us into the playoffs though. Ultimately, both teams made good selections here and I was convinced Shough was a joke of a pick.
  16. I will be there and ready to have my heart broken
  17. He just cannot operate from the pocket consistently. That's going to be on my "must have" list for QBs going forward. Does this College QB do all of his work from within the pocket & in structure of the play call. Bryce highlights at Bama and here in the NFL that does not happen often enough, so much of his big plays are in broken plays and he extends with his legs which is a cool skill but not something you can rely on week to week in the NFL.
  18. I hate watching that play because I get reminded of Kelvin Benjamin's effort on that tackle being so abysmal that it changed Cam's career trajectory.
  19. Yeah agree with t96, Pro Bowl is not a worthy award and hasn't been for a while. People make the pro bowl on name recognition only all the time. All-Pro team selections is the real award for these guys.
  20. Bryce is playing winning football for us, it seems sometimes impossible to blow teams out with our gameplan and his inability to truly push the ball deep. That seems to have a ceiling on how deep and great this team could be, but it's nice to see him make plays out there. He clears 200 yds easy if XL is an actual professional receiver which he isn't.
