  1. On his assessment of the team so far after the joint practice w/ IND:
  2. No cuts today, but will be coming in tomorrow
  3. DBO sign about to get placed at the Battery in Charleston
  4. Me thinks that Franklin/Chandler stick around since this is Burris' last year under contract. Franklin will slide into the spot unless there's a better prospect available in the draft while Chandler will stick around due to his ST contributions as well. I'm super excited that the team has developed the depth that it already has in year 2 of Hurney-delayed rebuild.
  5. Troy Pride Jr (IR/waived) Micah Simon Martez Ivey Caraun Reid An RB
  6. Overall, I want to see some of the guys that weren't healthy get some significant playing time. Especially Dennis Daley, Myles Hartsfield, Nate Hall, Clay Johnston, Keith Kirkwood, Reggie Bonnafon, and Rodney Smith. Wouldn't mind seeing if Mike Panasiuk can provide competition for back-up center vs. Tecklenburg. For the offense, I want to see if Brown-Christensen continue to look like the real deal as well see additional snaps for Shi Smith, Omar Bayless, Tommy Tremble, and CJ Saunders. Would also like to see if Trent Scott can bounce back from an abysmal showing vs. Indy. On the defensive side of the ball, I want to see more of Miller, Hoskins, and Nixon as they're fighting for one or two of them to make the final roster. Kendall Donnerson also put himself into the mix there. Want to see more of the LB depth that we got since Johnston, Hall, and Perryman were out along with the current starters (Reddick/Thompson/Carter). Finally, looking for the CBs down the depth chart to step up now that Pride Jr is hurt. STO3 & Keith Taylor are going to get more opportunities along with Jalen Julius & LaDarius Wiley. Myles Hartsfield might be able to sneak into that group as well since the safeties are looking fairly set with Chinn, Burris, Robinson, Chandler, and Franklin. For special teams, need Slye to come out and kick a perfect game. Enough of the seeming 1/4 kicks being a miss. Would also like to see somebody separate themselves as the returner between David Moore, CJ Saunders, Trenton Cannon, and whomever else is competing.
  7. Hoskins impressed for sure. Nixon was a bit non-existent. Will be interesting seeing those two + Christian Miller battle for a roster spot. Was impressed by Hoskins consistently getting penetration into the backfield.
  8. The next week is going to suck bad for the OL group. Rhule & company are about to wear them OUT.
  9. Hit on the first, and then pray for somebody on day 3 is literally the trick to Hurney Magic.
  10. Offense: Brady Christensen, Terrace Marshall Jr, Deonte Brown Defense: Marquis Haynes Jr, Phil Hoskins, Kenny Robinson Special Teams: JJ Jansen, London Fletcher, Joseph Charlton Honourable Mentions: PJ Walker, Chuba Hubbard, Yetur Gross-Matos, Sean Chandler, Paddy Fisher
  11. Chase Blackburn out there coaching the hell out of special teams. I likey.
  12. Going to be very interesting seeing who between Nixon, Hoskins, and Miller stays on the roster when final cuts are made.
  13. Keith banged up a little bit. Damn damn damn. Steve Smith shitting on South Carolina is literal gold.
  14. Holy poo Rhule is going to choke each of these OL after the game
  15. False start gdi Looked like 62 to me, not 66.
  16. Would love to see Grier come out and run a nice 8min (well... 7:43min) drive to secure the W.
  17. Hate to see it for a young guy (or any player really). Looks like Pride Jr is destined for the IR. Oh damn, did he just pass out?
