Pretty much this right here. He's clearly a gifted play designer that we all expected to have some growing pains as a play caller... but there's also the question of how effective Joe is as a teacher. It's one thing for one guy to be in the wrong spot, it's another for everybody to be having mental lapses.

Sam was benched, but we are at the point now where there needs to be true accountability shown by this staff.

Joe Brady would be an excellent college OC where a lack of adjustments is offset by talent differences.

Ew, Peppers came down right on that ball. That poo huuuuurts. I remember several years ago a college player got tackled on to the ball like that and the force of the impact perforated his colon and resulted in emergency surgery

The fact that the entire offense looks unprepared and inept makes me wonder how much Joe Brady is feeling the heat. It'd be one thing if it was one player or position group, but this is a collective failure across the board. WRs aren't catching the ball or running the correct routes, the QB is making bad decisions and hesitating (a deadly duo), the OL is a mess, and TEs are under utilized. The RBs are doing what they can.

In order of preference for me...

Joe Brady seems to be hitting a serious wall as a play caller. It will be interesting to see if he's able to progress passed it. There's clearly solid play design, but he looks to be falling into the same trap as Mike Shula and other OCs by depending on the scheme itself rather than the players within the scheme.
