Playcalling looks suspect, defense looks like they're getting bullied anytime contact is made. Execution on offense has also looked subpar at best. How's the body language of the players on the sideline? I'm hoping they aren't sliding back into the "same ole, same ole" mentality we saw last year

ST did them no favors, that's for sure, but they did give up a 24yd screen (plus the personal foul) as well as 16yds rushing to Chubb on 3 ensuing runs. They've got to tighten up, especially during the 2min drill.

This has been expectedly ugly, but if the defense can come out here and force a turnover or prevent points then there's a slim chance that we can go into the half tied. My biggest concern atm is how the team looks in the 3rd quarter. The franchise has been notoriously bad through the last two regimes with halftime adjustments. If the team comes out hot in the 3rd... man that would be nice for hope.

Icky has lost a few reps pretty badly to Garrett, but he's also had just as many positive snaps. Him and Xavier Woods have been small glimmers of hope. Christensen as well.

It has been ugly to say the least. What is making it more frustrating is that Cleveland looks clearly like the better team and their miscues are all that has kept Carolina in it.
