A person's appearance very much can be an extension of their culture, experience, background, etc.
-
I'd argue that trying to eliminate the reality that is our differing backgrounds, cultures, experiences, etc is a lot more harmful to society and proven by recent political ventures we've seen in America, but that's a convo for the Tinderbox.

The pandemic has made it so that it feels like everything in the last 5 years has taken place within the last 2.

Play-by-play for the Hornets iirc but I think he was released recently?
-
Was genuinely surprised to see the resignation considering how he's moved up within the org during both regimes.

Because there is a lack of representation in NFL leadership despite a majority of the league being black and the Panthers were just recently in the spotlight with this issue during the Wilks' saga.

Not sure who Lombardi spoke with that said Stroud was hard to coach, but I just don't see it. I've watched every game of his this past season and there's been nothing on the field nor sidelines to show that he's hard to coach. I got the opposite impression, that he's easy to coach and work with. The next cpl of wks are going to be draining... but the draft will be here soon!!!

Dane Brugler's 2023 Draft Guide a.k.a. "The Beast"
Icege replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nick Hampton was popping up on stat sheets all year and Byron Young looked impressive at the combine. I'm a Clemson fan and have been high on KJ Henry all season. He was the definition of "do your job." With the move to a 3-4 I'm not so certain now, but I like him over YGM at least? Williams had a rough season it seemed, but man did Rush come on -

This is why, in my heart, I knew that the move to #1 was to take Max Duggan. -

I really, really like his tape and how he was putting up stats consistently throughout the year. There's def valid concern over size, but to me a guy that can produce like that still at worst is going to be a special teams monster coupled with being a reliable back-up. Daiyan Henley, Ivan Pace Jr, Jack Campbell, Nick Hampton, and Nick Herbig are my favourite LBs in this draft class. Not necessarily the best LBs, just the ones that I enjoyed the most while armchair scouting during/after the season and think that they've got a chance in the pros. I wanted to like Drew Sanders but the more I watched the more disappointed I was.

How former Panther Russell Okung looks like these days
Icege replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Mang... imagine the relief of not having to poo 6k+ calories a day anymore -
Can't wait until the draft gets here. Looking at most things we have heard, Stroud seems to be the perfect fit but then we hear about the emphasis on intelligence, calm under pressure, leadership and we are then left thinking, "Well poo... could it be Young?" Got to say, after the previous regime having more leaks than the Titanic that it's nice to not know what's going on. Finally, some professionals handling business.

This reminds me so much of the Gross transformation and really shows the work that these guys are having to do just to physically keep up in the league.
