I understand that you don't want to see the other side of the argument you've chosen to be on, but that's required in order to have a good faith conversation. You cannot genuinely sit here and tell me that you've seen just as many threads get taken over by support for Bryce as there have been those taken by folks finding ways to bring Bryce up for topics that don't involve him. That's why the pearl clutching over the roles being reversed this morning are laughable at best, willfully misleading at worst. There's a reason that the previous thread was a compliment sandwich thread, and it wasn't because folks were being deliriously optimistic about the team. It was because the same group of 4 - 5 posters did what they've done the entire offseason: tanking threads with their tears. This is clearly not going to go anywhere that involves any type of agreement, so I'm going to disengage and stick with copy/pasting tweets because, well, you definitely aren't as bad as the 4 - 5 posters that were brought up. I appreciate the back and forth and look forward to future convos.

I'm in the same boat. Part of me thinks that it'll really depend on what work, if any he gets vs. the Jets.

I am so much more excited for the TE room than I have been in previous seasons. Tremble finally getting a chance to start, Sanders ascending, and the veteran presence of Matthews will be helpful if we run a significant amount out of 12 personnel.

Where was this energy the last several practice threads when the roles were reversed?

I wonder what the final diagnosis was on the foot. Does anybody recall the team ever saying what it was outside of soreness?

You said the same thing about Derrick Brown being a bust, but here we are.

I've got no problem with people trying to predict the future. I'd just rather they stop gaslighting themselves and others by proclaiming it to be reality when it isn't.

People like to call themselves "realists" only to turn around and make proclamations about the future based on their beliefs/feelings. For example, a person that claims to be a realist only to then turn around and say that a player will never be good are engaging in fortune telling (which is a form of cognitive distortion). ie: "Steve Smith will never be a good WR because he's too short" is fortune telling. An example of a realistic approach would be: "Steve Smith will have to make up for his lack of height by working on his route running in order to create separation and be open for his QB."

Might not have as many videos today, but it sounds like the Jets session is supposed to be more lenient with them?

Realists don't engage in fortune telling.

I got the same feeling. Expecting a lighter practice today overall before they give 110% Against the Jets tomorrow. Then we get Friday to chill before the game on Saturday. I'm curious if they'll approach the game the same way that they did vs. the Pats. I can see that being the case if they give the starters most of the work against the Jets in practice. I'd be surprised if a beat reporter didn't ask for clarity on that during the press conference afterwards.
