SO fuging GOOD Walked in with two picks. Walked out with three players, an extra 5th, and a 2022 4th from Houston. The 3 players? A beast of a WR, an LT/LG, and a TE/FB. Rhule is also saying that there are multiple players that the team has 2nd/3rd round grades on that are available still. I'm hoping to see that 5th and a 6th or two used to move up and grab at least two of them.

I love it so much

Round 2 - Carolina Panthers select LSU WR Terrace Marshall

YO HOW DID WE GET TERRACE MARSHALL JR AND TURN A FOURTH INTO A THIRD, GET ANOTHER THIRD, AND GET ANOTHER SIXTH -
Elijah Moore would be insane, but I'd also be excited for Teven Jenkins, Landon Dickerson, Creed Humphrey, Quinn Meinerz, Richie Grant, Trevon Moehrig, or Pat Freiermuth. Maybe Trey Smith or Deonte Brown in the 3rd if the team goes defensive back or offensive playmaker in the 2nd?

There are a GRIP of good players available tonight. Strong chance that the Panthers draft at least one additional starter.
-
Is it can it be Richie Grant time nao?

Okudah Horn Jaycee had more solo tackles, tackle assists, sacks, pass deflections, and forced fumbles while having only one less pick than Okudah (who had 5 more games thanks to not dealing with COVID). Okudah had a single sack and three interceptions his senior season. Okudah's senior regular season opponents: Florida Atlantic, Cincinnati, Indiana, Miami (OH), Nebraska, Michigan State, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Maryland, Rutgers, Penn State, Michigan,. His toughest match ups during the regular season were Quintez Cephus, KJ Hamler, and Donovan Peoples-Jones. Meanwhile, Jaycee Horn played against Tennessee, Florida, Vandy, Auburn, LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Missouri, Georgia, and Kentucky during his senior season which put him up against Kyle Pitts, Kadarius Toney, Terrace Marshall Jr, Elijah Moore, Jaylen Waddle, and DeVonta Smith.

Got the draft day Zoom call set up with my buddies from college that are also football fanatics. We had a blast last year and I can't wait for the reactions this year
-
You mean trading three first round picks just so that a message board user can be "entertained" isn't a viable team building strategy?

Analytics that will shape Draft Strategy or my name isn't MHS831

S+ tier post Not a fan of CB at #8 if Sewell, Slater, Fields, Pitts, Chase, and /or Waddle are available but love the attention to detail, especially the spotlight shown on 3rd down situations for the team last year. I was wondering on what planet some of these individuals that were claiming we had an "average defense last year" were stealing their meth from. After the thorough write up though, I'm much more at ease with taking a lockdown corner to pair with Donte -
Opted out due to COVID last year, developmental LB prospect that had great range but not much college production after an ankle injury. He was a sleeper to make the team last year. Sucks that he didn't get to chase that NFL dream further. I hope it's not due to anything health related on his end.

Those odds are looking much better than what they were looking like 2 weeks ago

The story is hilarious and I want it to be true on that alone

Rashawn Slater is my draft crush Would not be mad with Kyle Pitts, a top CB, top QB, nor top WR tho
-
I "hedged my bet" as Linville would say and said that he could throw deep, not that he could throw deep well.
-
You want smart moves... but you also said that CMC is at best a slot WR, Herbert is Gabbert 2.0, and that we couldn't get a pass rusher because winning a game took the team from #9 to #16? Sir, history is most certainly not on your side here.
-
Though... I can't lie... a QB room that goes from Teddy Bridgewater, PJ Walker, and Will Grier to Teddy Bridgewater, Sam Darnold, and Justin Fields sounds kinda hawt
-
This makes me feel much, much better. Phew. RASHAWN SLATER TIME

I can live with the 6th and a 4th next year, but the 2nd rounder as well without a 5th year option and on the final year of his deal? fuging ew. The only thing that makes this palatable is that his cap hit is just below $5M
