Nothing pissed me off more than how we would start the season as the worst team, guaranteed to get a top 3 pick, eliminated from the playoffs then Rivera would go on a win streak and we would go from getting a top pick to a mid round pick.

Seifert won 120 games. he had a rookie qb that was horrible his 2001 season and we did beat the Vikings which was arguably the best team. Also not like we had great teams during those years.

I’ve heard that Mayfeild has mechanical issues. If that’s the problem then if that can be fixed then he will be fine.

Well it’s not like we are going to be super bowl contenders next year anyhow. I say we eat the contracts and then in 2024 we will be free of them. Don’t extend, don’t cut them. Let’s go ahead and get rid of all these bad contracts. Prepare for the future. Get a good QB, some other young talent, give them a year or two and once they start playing well then we can sign some free agents with the cap room we have.

Cause Cam is old and washed. He can’t throw the ball since the injury. He’s good for short yardage and goal line but that’s it at this point.

Here’s an idea… what if he was our back up RB or used like cmc? Take reps off CMC and give him reps where he can use his strengths.

Personally I’ve always hated zone, especially when Horn supposed to excel at being a press corner. Use players to their strengths is what I say. Doesn’t help that Snow uses a college defense.

Considering Jenkins had Buckner beside him, Peppers and Rucker on the end, I’m surprised he didn’t have more sacks. But you are correct about his injuries. They also said peppers disappeared in games and took plays off. Imagine if Jenkins was in better shape?

Thing is, is NT the position he should be playing? He seems to be a lot better at getting to the Qb than stopping the run. also if the info we got is true and the coaching staff told Brown to lose weight because he was going to be a pass rusher then when the season started they wanted him to be a nose tackle then our coaching staff really screwed him over.

I feel like the offensive line has played horrible and is to blame a lot for Baker sucking. I also would love to know how many passes has been dropped by our team this season, it seems like a lot. I guess the positive is that our offense can’t get any worse.

It’s why we see so many players not do well and all of a sudden they play for a different team or have a different coach with a different system and they end up being good.

I say we trade everyone except good offensive lineman, maybe keep Horn too. I hope we can get a good draft pick for Chinn but because our coaching staff has him playing so many different positions which has made him look bad, I wonder if it’s dropped his value. I am sure we can get some first round picks for Burns, I say trade him if we can get multiple first or a first and a few 2nd or third round picks. I think we can get something for DJax. Possibly a second round pick. Cornerbacks are highly valued in the nfl and Jackson is in his prime, corners tend to start sucking once they turn 30 so better trade him while he’s in his prime and we can get the most value for him. cmc is a tough one, he’s a top RB when healthy, problem is Running backs don’t have a lot of value in the NFL and he has a big contract. I doubt we can get a first round pick for him considering his contract and injury history. I don’t think we would get much for Derrick Brown or YGM but if they improve then I can see us getting maybe a 3rd round pick for them, depending how good of a season they have. Shaq Thompson would probably be worth a 3-4th round pick considering his position and his contract. DJ Moore is a player I would trade in a heart beat, we can probably get a first round pick for him and more. other than that I don’t see us getting much for any other players on our team besides our offensive linemen and J Horn. We might could get a 1st for Moton but I value offensive linemen too much to want to get rid of them.

I know ricci and Anderson dropped a pass. yeah I expect more from a 4 year QB but to his defense our offensive line hasn’t played well, our receivers are dropping passes and he is learning a new playbook and has a new team he has build chemistry with. If he doesn’t improve in a few games then I think we should worry.

I don’t think that is the reason why he’s played well. Defensive line is one of those positions that can take a few years for a player to develop. maybe Brown is finally getting it. Still I would like to wait until I see more games before making a decision.

I would love to see a review of Derrick Brown. Maybe it’s just me but it seems that he was doing everything yesterday, tipping passes, making plays in the backfield, getting to the QB, stopping the run, making key blocks, etc. didn’t he also have another good game last week? If I remember correctly he was listed as one of our top defensive players one week according to PFF. would also love to see how our offensive line played. I know Baker played bad but it seemed he was being pressured all game and didn’t have a lot of time to get rid of the ball. I would also love to see how many balls were dropped by receivers.

Is it me or has Brown played really well this year? I noticed today he was making a lot of plays and getting to the Qb and doing important things that doesn’t always show up in the stat sheet. Problem is I don’t think he’s a NT.

Luvu played well last year but it was in limited time. He’s a play maker and can get to the qb. Luckily he has one more year on his contract because if he keeps playing like this he’s going to want a lot of money!
