  1. Wasn't Cooks a better receiver coming out of college than Dorsett was? From my understanding Dorrsett is pretty raw and could be another Hester type player. I haven't researched him as much as other WR prospects but I believe we could get Lockett or Crowder in the 4-5th round and I believe Lockett is better than Dorrsett.
  2. Good draft but idk about Humpries. Not only has he never played at over 300 lbs but has already had injury issues and his pro comparison have been guys who haven't done well in the NFL. I really want Gurley or trade down and acquire more picks.
  3. Here's my list Zach Zenner John Crocket Jeremiah Poutasi Junior Salt Darryl Baldwin Chaz Green Dezmin Lewis Ty Montgomery Kenny Cook Vince Mayle Stefron Diggs Dres Anderson Darren Waller Ryan Russell Justin Coleman Josh Shaw Josh Robinson Antwan Goodley Austin Sheppard Deandre Smelter Clayton Geathers If available: James Sample Justin Hardy
  4. If we could get Gurley, Smith and Hardy I would be very happy. Add Daryle Williams in the 4th, and James sample in the fifth I would believe our team had a perfect draft.
  5. With all the coaches on offense and a unique scheme I feel that The Golden Calf of Bristol is in the best situation he has ever been in the NFL.
  6. I understand what your talking about. I have seen plenty of times where a prospect has speed but they say his weakness is not having enough speed. I believe what they are trying to say is that Conley does have great 40 speed but on field speed isn't as great because defenders can slow him down easily. I do like the fact that he can block well, something I didn't know before but Hardy can block well and has a better skill set than Conley so I would put Hardy and even Lockett ahead of Conley.
  7. I thought Preston smith was more of a CJ clone? Either way I would feel a lot better with either Smith, Flowers or Odi drafted in the 2nd-3rd round. Thank god it's less than two weeks away until the draft. Also I still believe having a 2nd WR is pretty important to have. I believe that Brown has potential to be a solid #3 but we really have no solid 2 on the roster unless Hill can surprise all of us by some miracle.
  8. There's always some chance that a player will end up being a star but I wonder how many of these players who have top 40 times at the combine actually end up being successful in the NFL?
  9. I hate Russell Wilson but he's a pretty good QB. He has a poor Offensive line and no great WR but yet does well in the passing game. If your trying to say RW's stats are only good because he throws short quick passes then why did he lead the NFL postseason in yards per attempt and in the regular season was above average in yards per attempt? We can try to say that certain players are only good because of certain players around them or schemes but it still don't change the fact that they are still successful in what they ate doing.
  10. True but he also won a super bowl without any turnovers and he did have a historic comeback against Green Bay. He was one play away from winning another Super Bowl but his WR was picked off by a great defensive play causing an interception. It wasn't his fault his team lost. Also name one QB who hasn't had a few multi INT games in the playoffs?
  11. You can say he's a product of a system but he doesn't turn the ball over much, is pretty accurate, and is mobile while having an offensive line that gives up many sacks and this season he had no big name WR. If QB is the most important position then why would you let a good one walk away?
  12. Of course he looks good in highlights but how rare do those plays happen? From what I hear he has speed but really doesn't excel in anything else. He will be lucky to be drafted in the fifth round.
  13. Since tight ends have been successful in the NFL that mostly played basketball I don't understand why we don't see more basketball players who don't have a shot at the NBA tryout for the NFL.
  14. I just think Dorsett is another prospect hyped by his 40. Maybe I'm wrong. I do think Devin smith is the better WR. Either way I believe Dorsett could be drafted in the second round, maybe fall to the 3rd.
  15. I'm going to go out on a limb and say Hardy will be a better NFL player than Strong.
  16. I wonder if the steelers will try to draft Collins in the first round now that he has retired? I could see them going after a safety in the first three rounds of the draft.
  17. Not everything on bleacher report is good but I find a lot of useful info on their app. They also use other sites articles so you get to read articles from everywhere. I'm not saying the anti- Strong article is fact but I figured people need to hear all the bad about him and get all the info about him before deciding on what you think of him. I was on the Strong bandwagon but this article has convinced me that maybe other WR prospects are the better option.
  18. I was a fan of strong until I read this yesterday. Now I don't know if I want the Panthers drafting him. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2421862-why-jaelen-strong-does-not-belong-in-the-first-round-of-the-2015-nfl-draft
  19. Sure he has injury problems but he could be healthy this season. I wonder if not playing football these past few years have actually added a few years to his career like Thomas Davis.
  20. Since there are only about 18 prospects with a first round grade and plenty with a second round I would rather just trade down and acquire more draft picks.
  21. Oh well. I thought he had a chance to sign with us.
  22. Jordan Taylor and Kenny Cook are tall WRs that we could get in the mid to late rounds.
  23. It's his only move he had since no one else wants him. He could end up being their #1 or 2 WR there. So not bad move for him.
