  1. True. Most athletes have a big ego and are narcissistic. Considering how Cam acts when he runs for 2 yards, it shouldn’t be a surprise to hear him prop himself up and act like he’s great when he sucks.
  2. I think Cousins should be a little higher and if Watson plays all year then he should be too. I don’t see how Watson can be 13 and baker is 17. If you are going by statistics then baker probably won’t even be top 30 if Watson plays.
  3. Cam says one thing but reality shows otherwise. He started off great but as he played more he got worse and by the end of the season he was worse than Darnold. That shows me that it wasn’t him learning the playbook that was the problem as much as him being healthy. He was good when he first came back but as he got just a little west and tear on him he sucked. Also I assume they opened up the playbook as time went on. He was great when he was just doing short yardage and goal line situations but when he had to throw farther he couldn’t do it. That just shows me that the idea he can’t throw anymore is true.
  4. I mean it doesn’t sound like he would be succesful looking at those numbers, sounds like a run defender then again I remember us signing a few udfa DEs over the years that made the team and got playing time and were specifically run stopping DEs like Wes Horton and Bryan Cox. Both put up similar numbers in college.
  5. I think Rambo has a shot. Miami has produced some successful WRs and UDFA receivers like Allen Hurns. His scouting report sounds like similar to other successful Wrs, he’s a route runner and has had good production in college.
  6. I think Minshew and Beidgewater would be ranked higher but since they are probably going to be back ups unless an injury happens then I doubt they will play much.
  7. I wonder if Cade or Brown would be better at G than Brady Christensen? still I think having brady as our back up LT is great depth. I still wonder if Brady would be the better LT, at least this year than Icky? Icky at LG and Brady at LT could be the better combo atleast for now.
  8. Well he can block and play special teams so that may help him make the 53 man roster. I know his stats don’t look that good but to be fair he was basically 3rd in receiving stats, 2nd in receiving TDs and the team doesn’t pass a lot, less than 2400 yards total passing so maybe he ends up being a surprise? Who knows.
  9. To be fair Joes #1 receiver was Jerry Rice so if he was to lock on him all the time like the scouting report suggest then he’s going to win more times than loose because Jerry Rice is statistically speaking the greatest WR to ever play the game.
  10. He’s still around? I remember him being around a long time ago.
  11. Sounds good but then again why did he fall? Maybe he just isn’t as good as he was projected to be? Or maybe he just had injuries or problems on his new team?
  12. Not going to lie, Iky being a run blocking LT bothers me. The main job of the LT is to protect the QBs blindside. He gave up a few sacks in ACC play so what you expect to happen when he plays NFL? maybe I’m wrong but I could see him being a better Guard and BC being our LT. Honestly I wouldn’t care as long as both do a good job at their postions. I know many would think Iky would be a bust if he ended up being a guard but if he can consistently be a top G then I wouldn’t see him as a bust.
  13. Exactly. A lot of times the mocks aren’t even close to being right. Injuries happen, people end up sucking some end up coming out of nowhere.
  14. Brady was drafted in the 6th round, Kirk cousins 4th round, Nick Foles 3rd round, Carr drafted in the 2nd round. You can find a starting qb in later rounds. Plenty of first round qbs have been busts.
  15. What if Coral starts then he ends up sucking then Darnold comes in after a few games and plays well? Doubt it happens but it’s always possible.
  16. Dak Prescott and Russell Wilson are proof you can find a franchise Qb in the 3rd/4th rounds.
  17. Charleston Rambo could be a good one. Had a bad 40 time but great route runner and is said to play better than the 40 time shows.
  18. Problem is vet QBs even old ones that don’t have great stats still get decent sized contracts. It maybe cheaper to sign a recently retired QB as an assistant coach.
  19. This is the pick I hate the most. Yeah he has speed but lacks technique. I feel like the players with good technique do better in the nfl then your players who are great physically.
  20. I feel like he has bust potential or possibly will fail at being a tackle and have to move to guard. His strength is the run game, no something you wanna see in a LT.
  21. I disagree. Our online improved some sure but Our LT is a rookie who supposed to be a great run blocker. He gave up a few sacks in ncaa play so I wouldn’t be if he does give up more in the nfl. Brady played well at LT not so much at G so he might not be a good G. Bozeman basically had one good year in a run heavy offense. Maybe he keeps playing at that level or maybe he doesnt. We don’t know how well these new offensive linemen will do in a new system and there’s always a chance of injuries.
  22. I think Zappe has potential. He’s been good everywhere he’s went since high school yet never gets the recognition.
  23. It feels like to me the player who is a great physical prospect tends to be a bust over the player who has great technique. Alabama has had some bust as well so I would go with Neal. I would next go with Ekwonu who might be better suited a guard, I see the reports constantly speak about how he has problems with pass blocking.
  24. Yes but that includes the 2018-2021 seasons. I bet those numbers are a lot better for Pickett and others if you just include this season.
