  1. League was clearly okay with having Cam head hunted with their pathetic reasonings and excuses and Ron was okay letting it happen while collecting those coach of the year awards that he only really got thanks to Cam.

Good game and happy for the Jags. Going from that embarrassing joke of Urban Meyers’s tenure to being in and winning a playoff game a year later with Pederson shows how important that choice is.

We made the right choice in getting rid of Rhule but please panthers don’t settle for Wilks.

Another example of a team moving on from a joke of a coach in Joe Judge and a year later that team being in the playoffs and winning a game.

  4. Don’t really see it. The guy is a conservative minded secondary guy whose secondary and defense just got torched. Yeah they were missing Horn but they were missing Horn in the first game too and knew what they had going into this game. The Bucs have been horrible and their vertical passing game non existent and yet Brady and friends had their best game of the year in a critical matchup, that’s not a good look. I never understand having these supposed defensive geniuses whose departments look completely out of whack in big moments like what do they bring to the table. He’s better than Rhule but so what, is that really the standard? Having better than a guy who didn’t even belong in the NFL and isn’t even a good college coach? Sure some players like him but some guys also liked Rhule. Maybe if they stepped up when it mattered I’d care more about that.

I just find it hard to believe he is the absolute best option to have and in the NFL you should always look for the best or else you end up like this franchise. One that settles for mediocrity.

Tepper has absolute zero good will equity to spend, but if he has any he'd be well served to spend it on announcing Wilks will not be retained to gut the team going into the final game to secure that L. But the guy is almost universally hated by the fanbase already.

Teppers gonna be too busy being in Baltimore to watch the Steelers

  6. That’s Ron for you not exactly known for being cerebral the only things he excelled at were getting Cam Newton needlessly killed and making a sock smell

Him and Wilks can hang out later this afternoon with their moral victory trophies

  7. Just wait until we win the meaningless game next week and keep Wilks because of the oh so wow 7-10 finish and the “job” he’s done that we should all be grateful for. Easier to settle than work for something better. Just need to trade away a bunch of picks trying to climb back up the draft order after pointlessly falling and grab more failed projects and rinse and repeat!

But hey, it’s what some people enjoy strive for and are proud of, the Carolina Panthers being average and mediocre
