Burns is more valuable to Fitt for next year vs that one 2nd rounder pick for 2023 and those picks years down the road. He knows if he doesn’t put a somewhat decent product on the field next year he’s gone. Such a garbage move, just fully commit to the rebuild and maybe you’d show you deserve to stick around for it.

Decent guy and all and is actually an nfl quality coach compared to Rhule but I think it’s that comparison that skews the viewpoint. Compared to what Rhule was and all his stupid ass antics he looks like an option moving forward but compared to other decent nfl coaches ehhh we can do better.
