  1. i remember von miller mentioning that this is the type of stuff he looks for on film. some of this is on mayfield...but after watching the all-22 game footage, the pathetically anemic playcalling is the equivalent of the defense being in the huddle with the qb before the snap. in years past, bad oline play stood out. now, it's plain as day that defenses know what's coming even before the ball is snapped.
  2. that's a much longer list than i thought it was going to be.
  3. on the flip side, the fact he has worked with brady may mean he's learned some things that may help him be a better coach.
  4. mccaffrey has been used and abused the same way newton was. the chance of him playing a full season is slim to none.
  5. i wouldn't expect anything less. everyone's going to be eyeing sean payton after 2024.
  6. i think there are a number of late round QBs who could easily be an upgrade at the backup position...and actually compete for the starting job if the panthers don't make any changes. that being said, i really like kaleb eleby.
  7. he agreed to pay rhule the money. he didn't agree to whatever is going on in rock hill.
  8. it's not awkward. having boatloads of money doesn't mean you operate like a 10 year old with a hundred dollar bill.
  9. because he bailed on a failing project? i don't think so.
  10. myrtle beach isn't an area to gauge panther popularity since it's population is so fluid, it consists mainly of transplants. you are right about not seeing much the farther south you go. it's heavy high school and college fans in the low country.
  11. the article touches on it, but nfl footballs and shoulder pads have had chips in them for at least the past 5 seasons. they use it to collect data for next gen stats. they don't use it for officiating because it hasn't proven to be accurate.
  12. if there's any draft class where you can find a lesser hyped QB to take a chance on in the late rounds who might be a diamond in the rough, it's this one. all this maneuvering makes the #6 pick all that more valuable for teams jockeying for position to get whoever. the potential draft capital gained by trading back has more value to the panthers right now than a desperation pick for a QB.
  13. so what does it mean if i'm not associated with mayonnaise and it's ways, and i don't understand what robbie is trying to say?
  14. wow. i saw the thread title, and thought the name looked familiar. i read the initial post, and didn't know he was on the team. i read thru the thread, and had no idea he was the starting mlb.
  15. i give this offseason an A. these moves sparked some hope and excitement for the upcoming season that i didn't think was possible.
  16. nice. it's been a while since the panthers had a legit downhill thumper on the roster.
