Kinda ironic the gif you posted is Ryan melting down while having his ass kicked by a 17/20 for 216 yards, and 3 TDs Baker Mayfield with almost a perfect QBR. Hahaha.

Issue will be whether Burns wants to be here when it comes time to make that decision. As things stand now, I have to imagine he would want to go somewhere else with better culture and opportunities to win. We are going to have to over pay him to keep him. Trade him, take the picks and bank on one of those two being another defensive star. Brian Burns isn't sexy to a new coach, even if he's an absolute stud, but two 1st round picks would be. Have to start thinking long term, towards the future of franchise.

Me seeing CJ Stroud come into the Panthers huddle is like Michael Scott seeing Toby Flenderson come into The Office. "No, GOOOOODDDDD NOOOOOO". The last big time Ohio State QB threw himself into traffic he was so bad, and Justin Fields is headed that direction, pun intended.

Even if SF is at pick 20, the 20th pick in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds is worth the same draft point value as the 32nd overall pick. And then you need that ONE team to want to trade back 21 picks to move up. On paper the value of those picks is worth a late first rounder, in actual execution and logic those picks (even cumulatively) aren't close to the value of a first round pick.

There is ZERO risk / consequences for a weatherman in his job. The same isn't true for school officials.

The scenario here is really bad weather COULD happen, and kids, parents or teachers COULD get injured/killed... So the choices are ... 1) Cancel school and everyone can make their own decisions on how to stay safe, or 2) "Force" people to go to school, and the District ends up the liable party to injuries and deaths. Gotta remember who is making the decision - most likely an elected official who knows option 1 possibly results in a few pissy people who are inconvenienced to watch their kids, and option 2 possibly results in having to hold a press conference with 5,000 people at a candlelit vigil protesting a death(s) and calling for said elected official's job.

Yawn, I'll continue to be a Hornets fan for the last 3 games of the year when they are scrambling for the play in tourney, to then get beat by 30 and eliminated. Watching 82 games of this team, coached by this guy, will be maddening. Not sure why, but I expected more from Mitch and Michael.
