  1. I am close to singing onto this plan. Just use every pick on a QB, SOMEONE has to be good. We have been in this mess long enough, nothing matter until we have a franchise QB
  2. How many wins can we afford and still keep the top pick? Can Houston or the lions get to 3 wins? I wouldn't mind beating Brady one last time and getting a sweep of the saints to finish 3-14
  3. We've had such bad luck at QB I almost want them to double dip and go after that kid from coastal Carolina with a later round pick. Have him, Stroud/Young, and Corral all compete, someone has to be at least serviceable. Beyond QB we need another DE to pair with burns or DT with brown, a MLB, and a TE.
  4. You can tell he tries to come up with corny phrases for each game. Dropped a line about Shaquille O'Neal being proud when Shaq made a play earlier
  5. Lol I unironically fall into this camp a bit. But here are a few bullet points on where Tepper has rubbed me the wrong way mostly in chronological order Came in with a "this place has been bad and I am the savior" attitude with little to no respect for team history or traditions (and no ties to this area and it's culture as you pointed out) But he sure talked a big game about how mediocre we had been and how he wouldn't accept that. Really thinks he's smarter than everyone and is gonna throw his money around to fix everything Decides to blow up the team, which is a decision I think was fine, but follows that up by hiring Rhule, kicking Cam out the door, and losing people like Luke from the orginization We then decide maybe the team just needs retooling and not rebuilding and thinks we can find some journeyman QB to come in here and perform (and don't tell me he wasn't signing off on those decisions after his talk about getting GM/Coach/QB right) Then they tried to minimize keep pounding Then the soccer team became his main focus, which I thought was cool to gain for the city at first, but after a full season it has turned into us sharing out stadium with them like some sort of new step sibling. There are parts of the stadium with more FC branding than Panthers including the team store We also have to share the sports radio with the soccer team (not entirely Tepper to blame here). The WFNZ pregame wasn't even before the game this weekend because of the soccer broadcast. The Panthers should not be playing second fiddle to a soccer team in any capacity Even worse the combination of the soccer team and Teppers need to squeeze every dime out of BoA by hosing concerts meant they decided to get rid of our real grass in favor of turf. I'll remind you that turf was composed of dirt from every county of North and South Carolina, a symbolic gesture I'm sure Tepper finds silly as he again has no ties to the area. He's also too stupid to realize we have perfect fall football weather that SHOULD lend itself to a beautiful grass field in a classic style outdoor stadium. REAL football, played rain or shine, on real grass, outside (I'm sure he'll be clamoring for a dome before long) Then there's the Rock Hill debacle which I won't type out here During all that the Panthers proceeded to do worse than before leading to one of the worst 3 season stretches in franchise history. We've won 5 home games in 2.25 years, the crowds are a shadow of what they one were (and that's for a franchise where we've always complained of whine and cheese and transplant fans! Somehow he made that worse!) and we came into the season ranked dead last and appear to be just that Decided to keep Rhule for a third season when everyone knew this experiment was over Proceeds to bend over backwards to try and get Deshaun Watson as the new face of our franchise, caring nothing about how that would impact "The Brand". A franchise he only owns because the previous owner was accused of sexual improprieties that paled in comparison to what Watson is accused of doing and makes the whole operation of Richardson's ousting look not just disingenuous but downright suspect on behalf of the league in trying to find Tepper a franchise to buy That lead to a real low point for the franchise in my opinion in the game we were supposed to be honoring Sam Mills against Arizona. We're there to Honor the man who so much of the actual culture of this team is built around, we even get a Mill's esque pick six by a linebacker as if his spirit is still there in that stadium somehow, and we turn in one of the most impotent offensive performances we've seen from anyone not named Jimmy Clausen and lose in embarrassing fashion Then to top it all off after finally firing Rhule Tepper comes out all agitated and saying insane things like "Charlotte never had music before" AS IF we were some backwater hick town before he got here and no one had ever been able to see a concert before he graced us with stadium shows. TLDR version Tepper thinks he's smarter than everyone, especially a tiny redneck city like Charlotte (in his eyes) and spends three years caring about everything accept doing the hard work of a real rebuild of this franchise that has us in a worse position than we were when he got here, and he has the gall to be agitated about people questioning him
  6. At this point Dr Steve Brule is a better choice than Rhule
  7. I left early and we NEVER leave early, there weren't even enough Panthers fans left to get a fire Rhule chant going. This is just embarrassing man I'm ashamed to even be out there screaming like that when we are so bad.
  8. There was at least enough of us here during player introductions that he got booed to start the game.
  9. The dang hype man needs to stop coming over the loudspeaker talking about "our house". There's like ten of us here today it's just embarrassing to have any talk about "our house". I am getting the niners fans to turn around and see who is screaming at least, one said i must have good lungs...
  10. It was not that bad in 2015, especially the playoff games. We always have lots of away fans but it is maybe one of the worst games I've seen here today.
  11. I was watching the infamous MNF game from 2013, where we also started 1-3 that year. The into highlights a story that really got me thinking about how we turned that season around and whether we could catch that same kind of fire. https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxOb3vLEYAGXuFpI83T3DpUwhC43yVYO73 I ask you, who on this team has the standing in the locker room to "put the fear of God" into this team? We've been excited about being one of the younger rosters the past few years, but who is in a position to galvanize this team like Smitty did in 2013?
  12. I hope everyone who danced on JR's grave is enjoying the Tepper era. Only way it could have been worse is if we had actually gotten Watson as the face of the franchise who was up to way worse stuff than being buckled into his car on jean Fridays.
  13. Well i no longer feel any remorse for missing the next two games to be on my honeymoon. Gonna just enjoy my time in Hawaii not worrying about how trash we are.
  14. Why are we in shotgun formation on all these plays? There was entry of time to run the ball which we've been successful with today
  15. Well we survived possibly the worst start to the game we could have had, no reason we can't win this.
  16. I don't understand, Kyle Allen didn't get this many passes batter down, what is going on?
  17. I'll never understand this, these people are willing to give up on their old cities/families/communities to come to Charlotte, but they can't give up a football team?
  18. "oh no do t blame the refs guys" If Thomas Edward Bradley can complain about that no PI call on MNF i am also entitled to being upset with them picking up the grounding flag.
  19. If we pay him like a top tier pass rushing DE it's gonna set us back tremendously. He's just not a good fit for our scheme and we shouldn't be putting big resources into players who dont fit the scheme.
  20. It's not a good look when the team has performed as badly as we have the past two seasons. If he was as successful as Belichick it wouldn't be a big deal. But he's at an official meeting representing the Panthers, he can get some clothes that at least fit. If my picture was being taken as a representative of my employer I'm not gonna have baggy pants and an untucked shirt. Reminds me of Dave Gettleman refusing to pronounce the city of Charlotte correctly, I don't care how thick your Boston accent is this is not the city of shallot. I wouldn't go work for a Boston company and pronounce it bawwwstuhnn like a redneck.
  21. The only thing I can think is that the gun becomes unlawful because of the drug possession? As others have said, were an open carry state so you can ride around with a handgun as long as it's visible. Maybe it was "concealed" in a glove box or something and that's what they got him for. This is just a waste of everyone's time and resources. They should have an into to NC class for players that details speed traps on the way back from the beach and gun laws ect. Ect. Hopefully this doesn't impact the field, I do not care as a fan about any of these charges.
  22. Days like today are why I will be outside Teppers front door with a picket sign if he decides to move us to a dome. Panthers might get killed but at least I can scream at Tom Brady on a beautiful Carolina day.
  23. Just got to the stands in my black CMC jersey and it's actually kinda hot in here wearing black. Glad I wore shorts.
  24. My brother and I tried to get the keep pounding chant going but we were drowned out by Mims, who's name i haven't heard in like 10 years...
