I just don’t think enough voters appreciate Cam’s talents or records (especially the “games with a rushing and passing TD”) to get him in the Hall. It sucks, but that’s how I see it.

Kelly was a good passer, though he was helped along by some superior receiving and rushing talents around him, not to mention a great O-line. Cam should get a HoF nod simply for his stats in “games with a rushing and passing TD” as he blew past everyone else in that category, but sadly he won’t. And that will bother me forever.

“Shake off the rust”? Sam is just “rusty”?! Yeah, and the Titanic is “slightly unseaworthy”. What a fuging moron Rhule is. Cam may not be what he once was, but at least he can put some points on the board. With Sam, the Panthers struggle to manage even a few first downs a game. Jesus Christ this coaching staff has to go.

This team is going to kick ass in recruiting next year. Once they hit up the mega donors to their program, they will meet up with all the blue chip prospects and convince them to come and star at their schoo…..wait. Never mind.

Remember when the media hyped up Rhule and Carolina’s 3-0 start? Lord, were they ever wrong. Rhule is terrible, the defense is terrible, the offense is terrible and the players, by and large, are not terrible, aside from the OL. THIS poo IS ALL ON THE COACHES.

I didn’t see the game live (was working and live out of market), but that cutback on the almost-TD run of CMC’s was astonishing on highlights I saw. Damn is he quick. I don’t see how anyone could reliably spy the man. He’s incredible.

Cam seemed more subdued than he used to. Though it was easy to see that he’s excited to be back and he’s really the engine that drives the Panthers.

I look back at those 2015 season games and Cam looked absolutely massive. I like big Cam more than lean Cam, which is what he appears to me now. But if being lean helps Cam be a bit more nimble in the pocket, that might help keep him from getting hammered. Now if that shoulder is just able to hold up...

But if they don't need a QB because QB1 balls out.....

Please God make this happen. Is Cam the answer in Carolina? Probably not. But might it give him a chance to prove he's not washed? Possibly. Do I want to see Cam in Panther blue hand a ball to a kid in the stands at least once more? Fug yeah. I will ALWAYS want to see it at least one more time.

My confession is that the first three weeks of the season had me believing that Sam might be a serviceable, even decent, QB. He is not, I was dead wrong, and this team is backpedaling faster than anyone not named Deion Sanders.

That didn’t prevent Sam Darnold from ending up on the Panthers roster, so why should it prevent Cam?

I remember during the Pickles era thinking that when the Panthers fell behind by even three points that the game was all but lost. Hard to believe, but the Sam era feels the exact same way.

Right now I’d say they’re well below average.

The Panthers do have some cap room, and we can't think that Sam is the answer, do we?? If he's not, the Panthers have to make a change, tough as it may be financially.

Darnold may not deserve all the blame, as the OL is dreadful, but he is the leader and has been horrible. Like, Jimmy Pickles horrible. And as the leader of an underperforming bunch, he needs to be shown the door at season’s end. I’d say boot him today, but for who? Cam? I can’t imagine that happening though he would be an upgrade over Sam even if he was in a wheelchair. There just aren’t many options beyond letting Sam finish this lost season out, pray that CMC stays healthy, and look for the answer at QB in the draft.
