Yeah, he’s from Baylor. But with that kind of speed he’s a solid prospect.

Who is the second best tackle/left tackle in franchise history?

Kevin Farkas aka Farkenstein -
Bring the man. If he is terrible, he’s terrible and we get a QB next year. We KNOW Sam is terrible. Cam? Probably, but maybe not. I’m willing to find out.

This person either is seriously on the inside, or is a hot take disaster. Can’t wait to see which it is.

On Moving the Chains on SiriusXM yesterday, the hosts were saying that NO had no way to bring in DW because all their high price guys were already restructured and getting rid of them would simply accelerate their cap hit and make it worse. That it wasn’t possible. Who knows at this point…
-
Maybe, just maybe, instead of going to other teams to drive up the price in Carolina, Watson’s people have been going to Carolina to drive up the price everywhere else. That’s my guess at 5AM but what the hell do I know.

He’s going to Nawlins. I can feel it in my nuggets.

This deserves a slow clap, but with hands larger than Kenny Pickett’s.

Hey Alvin…there are easier ways to get out of the dumpster-fire that is New Orleans.

What’s your pitch to Aaron Rodgers to come to Carolina
OriginalPD replied to Leotiger's topic in Carolina Panthers
My pitch would be high and inside, aimed straight at his thick skull. He’s a dickhead and I’d rather pass on trying to land him. -
Do the Panthers have the ugliest coaching staff in the NFL?
OriginalPD replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
i don't give a rat's ass what any of them look like, what gender they are, what their favorite dessert is, what they do off the field....none of it. Just show me they can put a winning team on the field and they'll be what I'm looking for in a coach. -
A few answers from The Athletic's mailbag

You spelled Hurricanes all wrong (this coming from an Avalanche fan). The Canes are a great team, and hockey is a great sport. If you haven’t already done so, give it a shot. -
“Rose to prominence…”

Tepper bought this team with the intention of replicating the Steelers success, right? Yeah, this approach isn’t going to get them there.
-
So you believe he will be traded?
-
If Cam played as poorly as Kyler did in that first half…of. With that said, it goes to show that a porous OL will make any QB look bad. Keep that in mind when evaluating the Panthers QB options going forward.
-
In that spinning drum kit on a boom arm? Count me in.
-
I'm going to say it, detractors be damned. IF this team upgrades the OL in any meaningful way, I want one more year of Cam in Carolina. Is he washed up? Maybe. I don't think his shoulder is right, and it never will be. But this team will suck regardless what with Sam and this HC, so I'd like one good reason to tune in, and that reason is Cam. I want to see him get a couple more rushing/passing TD games, and want to see him go out on a higher note than where he is at now. That is all.
-
With Sam at the helm, "pick 6" has a certain ring to it, though
-
No way there are that many teams worse than Carolina. From week 10 on they’ve been a dumpster fire on a train wreck in a nuclear holocaust.

Rizzuti sums up goal line decision on point
OriginalPD replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Then Rhule proceeds to praise Cam in his presser yesterday. "Cam's a leader....he's the veteran voice the team needed...I hope he's back next year...blah blah blah". What a liar. If he REALLY thought Cam was worthy of praise, he would've used Cam where he still shines: short yardage situations. Cam looks not much better than Sam when throwing the ball (though the terrible OL makes it tough to really judge either of them), but running the ball? Particularly when you need some power? Cam is absolutely the choice here, and I'd wager he's the choice in this situation versus any QB in the League, even now. Don't lie to the Panthers faithful, Coach. We are not that dumb. -
“Brining” seems more appropriate for a guy named Claussen, but I guess with PJ it just leaves us in a pickle.
