    Long story short…was supposed to move to Charlotte at same time Panthers were named newest NFL team. Never did move but I still fell for the team hook, line and (mostly) sinker. Live in Richmond, but my heart is in BOA Stadium on Sundays. And occasionally my ass is too when I can get down there.

    I feel better about the team, but I still worry about coaching the run defense. I think 7-10 sounds about right. But I’m hoping for 9 wins and a postseason berth.

    Nope. I can’t even think of it, let alone rewatch it.

    I was at home, rest of family was out of town. Was on and off the phone with my son as the Panthers seemingly won and lost that game a dozen times. I remember screaming so loudly when Smitty snagged that pass that I got light-headed. And hearing my son scream an the other end of the phone was priceless. I’ll never forget it.

    I’m with you. The greatest Panthers game ever, immediately followed by the worst Panthers game ever. I was POSITIVE the Panthers would win that goddamn game. Then, the refs showed up and fuged them over. And killed Killer Cam.

    That playoff pick-6 was Mark Sanchez-level stupid. It took me 5 minutes to accept that a starting-level QB would ever try that “pass attempt”. Atrocious play, atrocious contract.

    I’m rooting for Carolina as I like them in the East. Would love to see them take on my Avs in the Finals, then I could actually attend a Cup game.
