In hindsight, I think it's pretty obvious Brady was playing with a loaded deck.
That LSU Offense had Burrow at QB, Clyde Edwards-Helaire at RB, Ja'Marr Chase at WR1, Justin Jefferson at WR2, and Terrace Marshall at WR3.
That's so much talent, it's stupid. Justin Jefferson as a WR2 in college? That's 4 matchup problems and a QB that is one of the best at identifying a defense's weakness and who is deadly accurate. That's 4 players that were NFL starters day 1 and a 5th that looks like he'll be a NFL starter in the near future.
No matter what you think of Brady, it's reasonable to go back to when he was hired and ask whether you realized just how much talent he was working with. In hindsight, would you still want to make the hire?
