Cam Erving and Ereck Flowers both came out together in the same draft. They were two of the most pure left tackles I saw to come out in a long time. I thought they both were some of the safest picks with little to no bust potential. I was dead wrong. The Browns drafted Erving as a center and he didn’t played too bad. KC played him mostly at guard. Cowboys injuries derailed their season last year and had to use Erving at LT. Six years later in Erving’s NFL career and only 13 starts at either tackle positions, he gets a LT contract from Matt Rhule. Smh

Danielle Hunter and Patrick Peterson. That’s the only two names we need to care about for this game. Will this oline be able to keep Sam clean? And, Sam has been the best QB to play against if you’re a corner trying to rejuvenate your career.

College doesn’t give the NFL olinemen anymore. That’s the bottom line.

Let’s see the rookies that we could’ve had in the draft like Slater, Spencer Brown, Leatherwood, Cosmi, Mayfield and others.

I think Pat Meyer is a fine coach. He’s not the problem. You said it yourself, “can’t turn chicken poo into a Beef Wellington”. It’s not the chef. If it’s chicken poo (this OL), it’s chicken poo.

OL sucks. It’s not, not having CMC or a capable blocking RB.

What is a good to elite OL coach going to be able to do with this trash line? I mean even having Taylor Moton playing with them doesn’t help any.

So our head coach, gm and owner who all are supposed to be big into “analytics” didn’t have that fact?

Professional sport coaches act like their job is difficult and only a pro coach can do their job. It’s football. It’s not building a rocket.

I’m tired of hearing it too. Rhule should lose some weight himself before always talking about Deonte’s weight.

So OL is a position of need and we didn’t want to reach for one? We didn’t have to reach. We had the 8th pick and we could’ve had any OL we want other than Sewell.

Rhule thinks that he is in college where he can still develop bad players to play better. Riley Reiff? You mean that guy we chose Matt Kalil over and then again pass on him for Erving?

Rhule still believes that the NFL is like college where he can coach and develop mediocre players to perform better than they really are.

I’m still here and is only in my late 20s. People make fun of Otah but the guy was a great RT and could’ve been elite if he could’ve stayed healthy.

I would’ve liked to have Sewell back in April but wasn’t never a fan of him in pass protection. He was known as a young kid who was athletic and played with a mean streak. He is great pulling out and leading the way in open field for his running back at Oregon. He needs to move inside to guard.
