Have you watched his film? I find him very underwhelming. Very stiff. Not a great natural pass rusher. Not great production. Reminds me of a lesser version of Travon Walker.

He fell because he wasn’t the elite edge rusher he is now coming out of college

I disagree. It’s not hard to double a WR and still play the run. It’s called a bracket which you can use with a drop down safety or an OLB. Look up how it’s done. Also in obvious passing situations, doubling a wr is not hard. Falcons torched us in obvious passing situations time after time. 2 min drill, 3rd and long to where there’s no excuse to not focus more on Drake London. Mooney was out. London was the only WR Penix was looking at. Evero simply can’t make adjustments. He’ll most likely be fired next year. Wish we would’ve just ripped the bandaid off this year. To call all people morons who think we can do better than Evero is a very ignorant and arrogant statement. Who the hell are you?

Some of you who are not sold on Canales are insane. His main purpose was to turn around Bryce Young’s career and he did that. Of all of the teams in the top 10 of the NFL draft, we were the team that was consistently showing the most fight week in and week out. Our players never quit on the season. The offense which he is responsible for took a huge step forward compared to last year, despite the lack of skill talent that we have. It was our defense that was a mess. That’s one of my critiques on Canales. He should’ve gotten rid of Evero and hired his own DC that shares the same vision. But as a whole, I can’t see how people are not pleased with what Canales did with this team. I’d give him an 9/10

It looks like there’s a big drop off after the seventh pick. Of course we have the eighth pick. Just our luck. Let’s hope that someone reaches for a prospect outside the top 10.

Not a fan of this. One of the most important traits for a good DC is in game adjustments and Evero is horrible at that. Offenses attacked us in the same exact way all game long throughout the entire season. Yea, I get that we lacked personal but a simple bracket, doubling a WR for example isn’t hard to do.
