  1. Maybe I should go back and cherry pick past posts from you.. For example, when you were claiming Jalon Walker should be the pick and how he could rival Abdul Carter as the first defensive player off the board.. Give me a break.. This was always Bryce Young’s year to see if he is the guy or not. Andy Dalton went in and made 2 good throws vs the Jets to XL that Young most likely doesn’t make. What mystery backup QB would you rather have right now that wouldn’t have required sending future draft picks for?
  2. I feel like the Panthers need a QB who can move. Canales offense heavy relies on bootlegs/waggles/ rollouts
  3. His strength is definitely the off-script plays, specifically in the red zone to where the play is extended. The play to Tmac last week and the play to XL today is where he shines. Unfortunately those plays only happen every so often
  4. This. A lot of things were going against us this game. We were only a -1 point favorite if you follow sports handicapping. 1-Classic trap game after a huge win over the Cowboys. 2- winless team hungry..playing for their jobs and pride. 3- Our horrible road record. 4- Playing against an ex coach who I’m sure felt disrespected by how things ended and wanted to stick it to us. 5- A team with 3 nail biting losses and a tough defense. It’s one of those smelly games to where you plug your nose, get in and get out. Glad we won. This isn’t a game fans should over-analyze. BY is what he is. This game didn’t tell us anything new about him. But XL having a career game is a huge positive though. He needed a game like today for his confidence.
  5. Ugly win but we’ll take it. Jaycee Horn and Derrick Brown reminded the NFL how elite they are
  6. Negligent call with Andy Dalton as your QB and running the ball as your team strength
  7. We need to just roll with Evans and Trimble. T Sanders is the “anti TE”. Can’t block and doesn’t have sure hands.
  8. Let’s just make excuses for every player who has ever had an injury playing football.
  9. Adam Thielen is old news. If he would rather be a WR4 just to be closer to his family when he could’ve just waited 9 more months to do so after his inevitable retirement, than more power to him. I hope he’s enjoying the bench in his more than likely final year in the NFL
  10. Give me Mitchell Evans over T Sanders in this run heavy offense any day of the week.
  11. This game will let us know if there’s actual a culture shift happening or if we’re still the same ole Panthers.
