Doug Pederson is the current odds on favorite to get the job. But I'm leaning towards former Jags QB Byron Leftwich, who has a stellar resume as OC (thanks to Tommy Brady). Maybe it'll also help the Panthers with their division rival losing their great OC.
-
He's also got 10 drops this season, more than previous 3 seasons combined. I don't know how many wins it cost them but that's a huge red flag.
-
WHY?!?!?!?! Urb was the only consistent scorer on the Jags and always inside the 20 (co-eds).
-
If mods on my forum constantly bad-mouthed our QB and blamed the league leading 25 drops on him, I'd realize it's time to find new mods.

35-21 Panthers Should be an EZ win with Sam throwing for 350 yds & 3 TDs as long as these 2 things happen: 1. The O-line gives him more than 2 sec to find a receiver 2. Receivers don't drop 10 balls

Sam Darnold : Will he make it to a 2nd season here?

Panthers would be 0-6 or 1-5 without Sam. Would be 5-1 if the O-line, defense and receivers weren't so bad the past few weeks. Sam has an elite arm (eg 57yd TD to Anderson & 45yd dime on 4th down)... the problem is that the talent around him isn't elite or avg even. Give him with a decent O-line and he'll flourish and become a franchise QB. -
Sam did what he used to do with the Jets: overcame awful OL protection and 10 drops by his receivers to put them in a position to win. Then the overrated defense lost the game cause they can't stop a nose bleed. Sam did his job. The rest of the team didn't.

No team wins with 10 dropped passes. Yet Sam had them within a coin toss of doing just that.

Meanwhile, over at that other expansion team...

There's no way he "just met her" at some random party as he claims. She's an Ohio State alum and they met in June for some photo shoot at his restaurant. This was an on-going slamfest. LOL -

Looks like Larry Eustachy and Bobby Petrino will be inducting another ding dong in to their "Head Coaches Terminated for Banging Co-eds Half Their Age Club" soon. There's no way Urb lasts the entire season when he's responsible for turning the team into the Jagoffs: the biggest laughing stock in NFL. -
Sam Darnold "optimistic that CMC will be back this season."

I pulled a hammy while playing football and took a good month to be able to run again. Sam's probably right. -
It's hilarious that the top 3 most popular topics in the Jets forum is about Darnold and how it was a mistake to trade him.
-
Darnold with another great game. 23/33 304 yds

Btw, I had surgery over 15 years ago and have never had a single problem with it. I went back to playing basketball several hours a day and running 10 miles per day. So I couldn't disagree with you more that they were somehow incompetent.

I never received an MRI. They don't need it to determine a tear. Diagnosing a Torn Achilles Tendon The Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine offers the experience of board certified orthopaedic surgeons as well as a board certified podiatrist to treat Achilles injuries. Upon arrival one of the first things the doctor will do is evaluate your leg and ankle for swelling and discoloration. You may feel tenderness and the doctor may detect a gap where the ends of the tendon are separated. In addition to X-rays, the calf squeeze, or Thompson test, will be performed to confirm an Achilles tendon rupture. With your knee bent, the doctor will squeeze the muscles of your calf and if your tendon is intact the foot and ankle will automatically flex downward. In the case of a ruptured Achilles there will be no movement in the foot and ankle during the test.
-
Not true. I took an X-ray after my Achilles snapped and it confirmed it.
-
I ruptured my Achilles. Felt like someone kicked the hell out of the back of my foot when no one actually touched me. Took 9 months to play sports again.
-
Who's more nervous?

Jets fans glued to the TV balling their eyes out. Why didn't we keep Sam the Man?
-
Darnold is +5000 to win MVP and +1400 to win Comeback Player of the Year.

Stadium will be full by kickoff. They're all outside eating all the cows.

I don't view Sam as a reclamation project or someone who hasn't proven himself a starter in the league. Look at the great games he's already had in the league: 24/35 341 yds 3 TDs vs. Packers 24/38 253 yds 2 TDs vs. Texans 24/30 280 yds 2 TDs vs Colts 25/41 334 yds 1 TD vs Dolphins 20/29 315 2 TDs vs. Raiders 19/30 293 yds 4 TDs vs. Wash 23/32 338 yds 2 TDs vs. Cowboys All he needed is some talent around him and he'll put up great stats regularly.
-
Sam with 300+ yds but Aints pull it out by a FG. 34-31.

I've been watching/listening to Colin for over 10 years and yeah his takes are often garbage/wrong/terrible. Like when he thought Chiefs would crush the Bucs in the Super Bowl and Suns would crush the Bucks in NBA Finals. His knowledge of sports is pretty much non-existent. I remember when he was asked who he was taking in the Super Bowl and he said he liked the Colts cause Saints play in a domed stadium and Colts played in Miami (site of SB). What he didn't know was Colts also play in a domed stadium and Saints also played in Miami that season. Of course Saints crushed the Colts. He also recently claimed Steve Kerr punched out Michael Jordan when the entire world knows it was the other way around. He's a clueless dope. Btw, he went 40-41-2 last NFL season and 2-5-1 in playoffs.
