Justin Fields 70.2% CJ Stroud 66.3%. Their stats are very similar. Also, OSU has never produced a quality NFL qb despite all of their qbs looking great in college.

CJ Stroud = Justin Fields 2.0. That OSU system w/ that level of wrs and oline against the inferior Big10 just yields great college results that won't be duplicated in the NFL. Bears would have dumped Fields and taken Bryce Young but for the size issue. Also, whoever said the staff can coach up Stroud's mental processing speed WTF? You either have that (Young) or you don't (Stroud) just like you either have the size or you don't. I'll be happy with either and feel comfortable letting the staff make the choice. It's not like Rhule is picking the qb.

This is pretty much my sentiment. I'm not an expert and if this staff picks one or the other, I will assume it was the right choice. One more quality wr and this new qb will have a pretty decent team right out of the gate. Plus we have a wild card in Corral and a vet to help the mentor the new guy.

Exactly. There are a lot of pros on the UGA defense and Young handled them fine and with a relatively poor Alabama pass blocking line and mediocre receivers.

Neither Waller nor Hurst makes any sense. They both get hurt a lot. Age 30 and 29 respectively. They both cost too much. Go get Schultz or Geisicki. Stupid to pay Hurst 9M if that is true (again i don't believe it).

That's exactly how i know too. He was released by someone and I thought i hit the jackpot and then he sat out most of the year. My point is that he is now old and injury prone and not worth the gamble. Would you take him in fantasy next year? I wouldn't.

Yeah, but he was hurt for almost the whole year. His body seems to be breaking down at 31. He could be completely healthy in '23, but i wouldn't gamble on that. Would much rather have a rookie TE that can grow with CJ or Schultz or Geisecki.

He only played 9 games last year. Sounds like he is damaged goods to me.
