  1. lots of wr and te left. That UGA lb is the one that surprises me.
  2. Not really. They weren't that good last season. Exactly. They have had no Oline either. Levis had a crap oline. He will be a bargain for someone.
  3. CJ should have refused. But did he know in advance he would tank the test? Probably not.
  4. Brady is one of the least athletic qb's out there. I think Bryce will be much better at avoiding pressure. Hopefully, he plays like Eli Manning. That dude would sit down at the mere first indication of pressure.
  5. Me too. If i'm an agent, i want my guy to take that S2 in private, and if he scores poorly, i'm not having him take it for the NFL.
  6. This would also hold true for any qb we take later in this draft. We traded down for Corral; lets at least see what he can do before we dump him and use precious draft capital on someone equally as unproven.
  7. Hellllll no. I'm very nervous about not addressing edge, lb, cb, te, wr with only 6 picks. No way we waste one of those on a qb.
  8. “The S2 people will say, ‘Hey, guys that graded high on this test don’t always play well,’” one club executive said, “’But, we’ve never had somebody grade low and play well.’” Columbus Dispatch This plus the fact that no OSU qb has ever been worth a damn in the NFL means you do not trade up for Stroud (Fields was poor first year and mediocre second year).
  9. By ugly do you mean a bitchfest on this board? Because i agree with that. You pick the qb that you think is best and you move forward if you are the coaching staff without regard to ugly. If you make picks based on potential fallout from the media and fans, you are a fool.
  10. This is my fear. Stroud has a built in ceiling meaning he will be a decent starter or back up and that's it. You don't trade the farm for that.
  11. “If they want you to cook the dinner, at least they ought to let you shop for some of the groceries.” — Bill Parcells Bill Parcells groceries:
  12. If you had a great score why not leak it? If you had a lower score why leak when the teams already know your score? GMs aren't necessarily going to be influenced by public opinion, but they know owners sometimes are.
  13. Nice. I think we have several need positions and I go back and forth over prioritizing them so I hope we stay flexible and take the best available TE, WR, CB, Edge. At least one of those positions will have a first round talent drop to early second. Take that guy.
  14. Only way to get CJ is by trading up. Even if CJ starts to drop, some other team will trade down to snatch him up before the Coons. They just announced the line in the sand where CJ will not go beyond for the rest of the league.
  15. I'm going to make a very speculative conclusion that the Panther's coaching staff (and Texans too for that matter) is going to make a much better decision than I ever could. I will then support and root for their pick.
  16. By tape do you mean highlights? Because i watched complete games and he was complete crap. Maybe he is the ultimate qb mind in the ultimate qb body that only completes 53.8% of his passes. Was he day dreaming out there or something?
  17. I think we need wr, te, edge, and cb and will look from someone to drop to us at 39. Take best available that can contribute year one.
  18. I doubt whether he actually scored low and whether teams will get too caught up in the test. It is merely a component of the player. Tape being the most important.
  19. So AR's camp releases a vague unsubstantiated rumor. Surprised this didn't happen earlier. and what exactly does out of the park mean?
