I thought we picked Horn over Surtain because he was a local hero. Fields sucks, but we are about to gift them a really good first round draft pick.

But he did. What exactly did he do that was not positive? He didn't get the job because they wanted a younger offensive mind from day one. He was never given an actual chance to get the job short of blowing out every single opponent he faced. Like I said, giving him false hope was another stupid Tepper move.

We could have kept Rhule until the end of the season and had the number one pick. We are looking at a long rebuild. The benefits of sucking in '23 will go to Chicago.
