  1. OBJ, Lenny Fournette (for a while), Kayshon Boutte, Tyson Jackson, Jamarcus Russel, Dwayne Bowe, Glenn Dorsey, Derrius Guice, Barkevious Mingo. They had some hit but that is a lot of fail right there and bad attitudes to go with it.
  2. LSU players tend to have a lot of entitlement issues. Maybe that is why we passed on BJ Ojulari.
  3. I would agree as he is a very convenient scape goat. We will never truly know the degree of control Matt Rhule (he both claimed he was in control and that he was not in separate articles) actually had, but Tepper and Fitterer giving the man total control speaks to their decision making ability.
  4. Every day Scott Fitterer looks more and more out of his depth. From Cat Scratch Reader: Ouch. Fitterer being the genius that traded for Sam Darnold too.
  5. Really? Mingo is no AJ Brown. I watched them both in college. AJ could get separation. Maybe the corners in the NFL are slower than they are in college.
  6. Bryce Young = B he was the best player in the draft but we gave up the farm to get him. I like trading to 1 rather than 2 or 3 though. Jonathan Mingo = C+ the last big physical wr and we took him about where he was slotted. WR who doesn't get open but can catch disputed balls. We had a lot of options here but the biggest was the LSU Edge rusher. All in all, there was no WR like him with our next pick. DJ Johnson = D there was no need to panic and trade down here. We have a wr that can't get open in Wingo and now an edge rusher who can't get to the quarterback. He's also old at 24. Chandler Zavala = A- great value this late. Always a good idea to build the oline Jammie Robinson = A- can play multiple positions; dude loves football. That works out to a B-.
  7. Giving away draft capital and making head scratching picks threeyears in a row now. Matt Corral, Brandon Smith, Deonte Brown, Keith Taylor, Davion Nixon, Tommy Tremble all wasted picks. We should have hired a new GM when we hired the new coaching staff. Tepper is an idiot.
  8. So we wasted precious draft capital AND we are going to spend on a FA edge? Sounds wasteful to me. Like I said in another thread and that tweet says, Mingo and Johnson were picks by a staff that got caught flat footed, panicked, and reached.
  9. I wanted Ojulari but I'm an Ole Miss fan so i get to root for Corral and Mingo. I think we need pass rush help in free agency as someone mentioned.
  10. No. They drafted a stud rb but already had a very good one. They now have a stud TE, WR, and RB for their crap QB. They will get behind with that D and have to throw the ball. I can't figure out what they are thinking.
  11. Go back and watch Eli Manning play. QBs can control when they are hit.
  12. They have more control over how they are hit than any other position.
  13. Texans have a poor oline (other than Tunsil), poor wide receivers, and no one to mentor CJ Stroud unless you think his backup Davis Mills is that guy. Bryce is in a much better position. I see CJ's first year mimicking Justin Field's and that will not be pretty.
  14. Well that would suck for us but the draft never really goes like people think. Two qbs till on the board should throw a monkey wrench in that mock.
  15. I don't get all of the hate for the kid. So he posted some weird stuff of him putting mayonnaise in coffee and eating bananas with the peel. Young people post dumb stuff all the time. At least it wasn't him in a gasmask or drag racing. It also doesn't really say anything about him as a qb or leader. He had a crap offensive line. Also, several teams think he needs toe surgery. I'm glad we didn't take him, but i don't have any ill will toward him. Why would I or any of you?
  16. bpa: Michael Mayer TE, Darnell Washington TE, Luke Musgrave TE, Joey Porter CB, BJ Ojulari Edge, O'Cyrus Torrance OG. No need to panic and trade down. Plenty of talent left. I think the TE class is so deep you might even wait on that position. I would take Porter or Ojulari if they are available. Torrance is a stud guard that could help Bryce. Plenty of options.
  17. TEs take a while to get going and it's a deep position.
  18. the red dress chick is his girlfriend and looks really hot tonight.
  19. Nolan Smith or Porter would just be bad ass at #39.
  20. Very deep TE class. I think that's why teams are waiting.
  21. LOL. They suck right now and Stafford is not going to get them to the playoffs let alone superbowl
  22. He also might be around much later. No thank you and I'm an Ole Miss fan.
