  1. Stroud is above average but saying he's the savior for 10 or 15 years seems a stretch. Young is heads above him as raw talent goes. I just have durability concerns due to his size. None of the top four seems like a Joe Burrow sure thing. They may be the best QBs in THIS draft but I remain unconvinced that they are the future. I could and hope to be wrong.
  2. This is coming from a totally unbiased opinion because I'm not all that excited about any of these guys for my own reasons. However, Young seems to be the better QB watching these videos. Damn, he is small though.

  4. Maybe he isn't in the top of the top but, he was the closest in terms of production and experience that we had. Might get lucky and hit upon a superstar, however, if you're starting a rookie, it might be helpful to have a guy that knows his way around. The FA's that are available aren't that impressive either. I hope there is a trade in the works that makes sense.
  5. If the FO is flipping a coin on 2 players, get their 12 and 2
  6. With the exception of Shaq, none of these guys getting gone would hurt my feelings.
  7. Talking heads should probably be referred to as talking asses. Wrong more than right and still get paid somehow.
  8. Just guessing from past performances, one of the 4th's and the 5th will be traded. Maybe some combination with the 3rd as well. Fitt has proved what you think you have when the draft starts isn't necessarily where you end up.
  9. Been watching since the first game. Coaching staffs come and go but, this is the one thread of consistency. Never f'in fails.
  10. God, I hope not. Drama, drama, drama. How much does he have left in the tank? Not enough for the headaches.
  11. You hit the nail on the head. If Fitt sticks to his ways, there is no telling what ends up happening. Dude loves to trade more than fat kids like cake.
  12. This. I feel like we traded one problem for another. Now we have to find a new WR to make this work. Spending the next pick on a quality TE prospect might actually work out better to help a rookie QB. God knows we need one. The answer is definitely not on the roster right now. I remember the shock of having one of our TE's actually catch a pass. "Oh noooo, not to him...whew...miracle."
  13. I happen to agree. If this trade was for someone like Burrows, sure. These guys aren't that and saying we're good for 10 to 15 years is pure speculation. I guess we'll see.
  14. I don't think it's gonna matter who we want when we are apparently going to sell the farm for a QB.
  15. No. I don't understand the fascination with this kid.
  16. Calculated risk is one thing, selling the farm for a maybe is another thing all together.
  17. I would like to get whoever is the best QB at 9 then get a tight end. Fill the other holes after that.
  18. I agree. I honestly can't say "yeah, that's the guy" about any of them. Particularly, Levis.
